At first when I inserted the new filter I couldn't attach the front part of the vacuum. It appeared to be TOO BIG! However, the product was delivered when it was a gazillion degrees BELOW zero so I waited until the little filter warmed up and then it fit PERFECTLY!!

I find that these filters work great in my Shark. They fit nice and snug and work great. I am able to surface clean them in order to make more use of them. I feel the price point was great! I would definitely order these again.

It is a little snug fitting once it’s in, it takes a couple tries to get the dust container snapped back into place onto the vacuum part but it works well once on. My only real complaint is the strong smell. I believe it is the rubber part of the filter...Smells almost like gasoline. It doesn’t linger long in the air after use but I would prefer it not have the smell. I’ve used it dozens of times and it still has a smell. I believe the original one that came with the vacuum was a harder (less rubbery/flexible) plastic so that may be why it did not have the same smell. Overall, it does the job!

Replacement filter has cotton like material on it. Doesn't seem to be like the orginal one. It fits well in the vaccuum. Our old 1 has a hole in it so I'm sure this will be fine. It seems to has good suction Time will tell..

My headline says it all. My Sharp Handheld Vac was not cheap and when they are taken care of after each use, the VAC works very well.

Advertised as fitting the Shark SV780 (the purple Pet Perfect Cordless Vacuum w/attachments) but they don't fit quite correctly. I know there are conflicting reviews on this so I went ahead and ordered them. The problem is that at the wide end of the filter it doesn't quite sit flush to the dust cup. There is a small space between the filter frame and the dust cup (the clear gray-ish part) on both sides of the wide part (towards the bottom) so dust isn't contained by the filter and can "escape" into the cup. It's hard to see - until you start noticing dust in the cup. Don't make the same mistake I did, listen to the other reviews. Another confirmation of previous reviews that this filter does NOT fit Shark model SV780, that is the purple cordless Pet Perfect Shark. As another review mentioned, the large end of the rubber seal is smaller than the original, because it tappers more. So it does not tightly seal. Dust will get past the filter into the motor part.I uploaded a picture with this filter superimposed on the original one. Notice the top of the rubber seal, this filter's seal is smaller there.Other than that, the construction seems to be good quality, so if it fits your other vacuums, that's good.

I am so happy that Amazon carries these filters. I have used the Shark handheld vacuum For several years and my first one finally quit on me. I never replaced the filter and I wonder if I had replace the filter if it would have lasted longer...But I have a new one now and will definitely keep the filter clean and changed! The cost of these is well worth it...Especially since they come in a three pack.
