NOW Supplements, Ubiquinol 100 mg, High Bioavailability (the Active Form of CoQ10), 120 Softgels

Honestly amazing stuff. I give it to my dog, who was diagnosed with congestive heart failure almost two years ago. This could be just a part of what helped him but I read a bunch of studies about high doses of ubiquinol for heart disease in dogs and how it helps. He went from severe heart enlargement down to mild the last time I was at the vet with him. Pretty crazy, they told me they don't usually see improvement like this.

My Cardiologist and Endocrinologist both had advised that I should start taking either a CoQ10 or Ubiquinol supplement. However, it was strongly suggested that it would better if I could take Ubiquinol — I was told that it’s the already broken down form of CoQ10 and you don’t have to worry about if your body will do it properly. After my doctors had ran some labs on me, It was found that some of my important levels were not terrible, but a bit low. I'm in my mid-years, and I used to be a very active person outside. But, as my life had changed over the years, I find myself spending more time inside now. As being as such, it wasn’t surprising to learn that some of my levels had begun to suffer. As directed by my doctor, I started taking a Ubiquinol Supplement daily — NOW brand softgels. After about a month, low and behold, I was starting to feel better than I had in a really long time. I stated to have more energy, I wasn't falling asleep during the day anymore, and I was able to do my daily exercises with a bit more ease. I was told it's going to take a while to get things back to normal, but I can definitely tell its working. Ubiquinol tends to help your body with your cardiovascular system, brain health and energy productivity, immune health and overall body health. The NOW brand Ubiquinol Supplement seems to be offered at a similar or better price as most others on the market. However, Ubiquinol can a bit pricey compared to regular CoQ10, so discussing it with your doctor can be beneficial to your needs. This is a great supplement that is easy to swallow by mouth, however, it can be a bit large for some. Always ask your doctor before deciding to start or stop any type of supplement regimen. Listening to my doctors about needing to take specific supplements has really turned my life around.

A review for a supplement would be most helpful if it spoke to health outcomes. Outside of a randomized controlled trial, it is iffy to purport effectiveness of meds or supplements. This formula of CoQ10 is supposed to be the better one that helps to reduce free radicals and other helpful things in your body. All I can tell you is that the product seems well made, the price was ok, and I feel good. Recommended by my rheumatologist.

Great product; reorder often.

In general I have liked Now Products. This one has me a little concerned. I don't know if their manufacturing process typically includes the desiccant packs, but it should. However the bottle I got contained no desiccant. Whether through improper environmental conditions somewhere between the factory and my house, or by not including desiccant by design, the gels were all stuck together. Literally all of them. You can't even separate them by shaking hard, they are THAT stuck together. I have had to shove a blunt object in there so as not to pierce the gel and exacerbate the problem, but trying to dislodge a couple so that I can actually take the pills.Way more aggravating than the product should be.

Favorite brand for years!

So, I'm typically skeptical about these 'supplements', but the reviews were so good on this one, I took a chance. It arrived, and I put it in the drawer because I had an appointment with the doctor the next morning, and I thought I'd run it past him. He said the usual, 'no evidence to support it really does anything', but also 'it won't hurt you, so try it if you want to'.So when I got home from his office, I took one. I'd had a pretty big outing. Doctor, met someone for lunch, a little shopping, a few errands. Typically enough to make me head straight for a nap when I got home. I thought first, I'll give the dogs a bath. Then I did some household chores, and later made myself some dinner, which I hate to do because I hate making dinner.As I was going to bed, I remembered somebody on here saying they had done a bunch of stuff too, out of the ordinary, before they remembered they'd taken this pill. I wondered about it as I went to sleep. It was like *lightbulb*!THEN this morning I wake up, and I feel soo much better. My energy is back, my head is clear, my thought processes are faster, I'm in a better mood. I don't feel as depressed as I usually do, as tired, or as foggy. For about thirty minutes after I took the pill, my heart felt like it pounded a little, but it soon subsided.I will update my review if any of this changes, because I don't want to mislead anybody. But for the moment, COUNT ME IN!So count me in. I usually wait until I've had something a while before I review it, but honestly, I'm so delighted I couldn't wait.

The softgels are stuck together and can't be separated. I have ordered this same product many times and this is the first time this has happened. I requested return or refund and this was not allowed by Amazon. Now I have lost $44.99 and this is too expensive for me, I will no longer order this product.
