I really like this filter for our very hard city water. It may not be made to soften the water, but it does somewhat and it really helps my hair and eyes. Without the filter installed (or when it’s overdue to be changed), my eyes get red and my hair turns to straw that conditioner cannot improve. With this filter, my hair is soft and smooth and my eyes don’t burn or turn red. It’s easy to install, doesn’t leak, has no scent and is a good value. The water will sometimes come out a little blackish shortly after installing (I think it’s charcoal?), but it’s brief and doesn’t cause any staining or issues.

Great for getting all the hard minerals out of your water. Great for my fine hair as it doesn't get as dried out after shampooing. Installing on all showers.

So far I have had good results with this filter. My only recommendation for the company is to see how this filter can be redesigned, so that it is easier to open and close it when changing the filter, in addition, it would be an excellent option to have some visual indication of the status of the filter, and if it is already necessary to change it. I make the changes in the recommended time, however, I worry that when I change the filter and look at it. It looks yellowish on the outside, giving the concern that that does not go through the filtering, if it does not go directly to the skin.

Works as stated it should.

The media could not be loaded. Check out my old filter, so needed this new filter! It was super easy to replace. Only problem is there can be leaks if you don’t add the plumber tape correctly. And keep in mind while replacing use a rubber glove it makes it so much easier to open the filter.

Great Quality. Installed easy. My water is bad so I have to replace filter more regular.
