Crunchy and gross
I love quest brand tortilla chips and I thought I was in for a nice low-carb treat when I bought these adorable puffs. Let me begin by saying these puffs are cute. There's absolutely zero indication that you will soon experience levels of regret you haven't had since middle school when you farted in class. The puffs are a little small and their smell was inoffensive. Once I bit down on the first one, I thought, "not bad". Then about three seconds later there was an odd sensation, as if my tongue was trying to retreat to a safe space. The taste wasn't just pure protein. It tasted like rejection and a little bit like dirty socks. Wave after wave of this putrid flavor assaulted my taste buds. I tried to wash it down with some diet soda but the quest puffs were just too pungent. I ended up brushing my teeth. My boyfriend noticed the large box of discarded puff bags and felt that perhaps I had acted rashly. I dared him to eat five puffs. He made it through two. We considered hiding these in the break room at work where people have cavalier attitudes about eating other's food but reconsidered because it would only land me in another meeting with HR.

Amazing
Love the delicious and satisfying crunch these deliver - especially the spicy ones. Unreal that you get 17g of Protein on 3g net carbs - with only 130 calories.#questemp

Terrible taste, no wonder they’re not returnable
I’m a huge fan of Quest, and love their tortilla chips, cookies and candies. So I went with the positive reviews here, and took the negative with a grain of salt.I got much more than a grain of salt. The chips are inedible. When I opened the first bag, I was assaulted with a chemical smell, like ammonia and used kitty litter. Stupid me, trusting Quest and not wanting to waste money, I ate a few. The taste is even worse: sour, bitter, putrid. I thought the package was off or spoiled, so I opened another. It was even worse, despite flushing the horrible taste from my mouth with water.I thought about putting them in the compost, but was afraid of finding dead animals the next day, or having animals attack me in self-defense. I put them in the trash, and hoped they wouldn’t classify as toxic waste and get me in more trouble.Complete waste of money and a huge disappointment from a brand I trusted.

No Flavor But Big On Protein
Bought the Cheddar version. These don’t taste “good” or “bad” - they simply don’t taste like anything. Great amount of protein-to-calories ratio for such a small snack, but wish they were more “snackable”

Extremely Disappointing
I've been eating Quest products for years. Between their Protein Bars, Shakes, Powder, Chips, Candy Bites, Cookies, Cheese Crackers, you name it and I've tried it. So when I saw these, it was an easy choice to give them a chance. I was hoping for a taste more akin to the Cheese Crackers, but the cheese flavor was barely there. What I did taste was a very chemical-forward flavor with just a hint of cheese. Mostly, the flavor was very bland with a lingering chemical aftertaste. The texture was crunchy, which I liked, but it couldn't overcome the bad taste. I would not recommend anyone try these until the formula is severely reworked. Go for the cheese crackers instead. A much better taste.

Truly awful
I had gastric bypass years ago. My protein requirements are paramount , and I have tried many high protein versions of foods, drinks m, and snacks, including other Quest products. These are one of the worst things I've ever eaten. The initial crunch is fine, but from there it's downhill. Have you ever accidentally tasted the dried milk crust that sometimes forms under the cap on your milk? Yeah, that's pretty much the flavor profile. In addition to that horrible, slightly rotted flavor, they turn into a sticky, gummy mush in your mouth. Just awful. I tried a few times then just threw them out. Waste of money and calories.

Good, crunchy
Pretty crunchy; doesn't "dissolve" in your mouth the way the real puff cheetos do. It is a good alternative. I was kind of hoping they'd do the "dissolve" thing, but if that's not your thing then you'll love em!

If I could give 0 stars, I would
Absolutely disgusting. I ate two puffs before I threw the rest away. The taste is revolting, the aftertaste is like a chemical bath for your tongue. The texture is fine, they’re closer to a regular cheeto than a puff, so temper your expectations. They’re bite-size, so small and easy to eat, which is why I got through more than 1.Don’t buy these.
