great layout for high performance build
The ASRock B650 Steel Legend WiFi 6E has proven to be an excellent foundation for my recent build, featuring a great layout that comfortably accommodates all my high-performance components. My AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB cooler, TEAMGROUP T-Create DDR5 RAM, and the Onix Lumi Arc B580 12GB graphics card all slotted in perfectly without any clearance issues. I particularly appreciate the multiple M.2 slots with their substantial built-in heat spreaders, which are ideal for keeping my SAMSUNG 990 EVO Plus SSD running cool. Aesthetically, its color scheme is a fantastic match for the NZXT H6 Flow case and other visible parts, contributing to a very cohesive and clean overall look for the system.Performance and stability have been top-notch; the Ryzen 7 7800X3D was recognized immediately and has run flawlessly with this board from the initial boot. The motherboard also offers good, accessible hardware monitoring options through its BIOS/UEFI, which is useful for keeping tabs on the system, all reliably powered by my CORSAIR RM750e PSU. My only minor piece of advice is to be selective with the bundled software and drivers during installation; while some utilities are certainly useful, others might feel like bloatware, so a custom install is recommended to keep your system lean.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the ASRock B650 Steel Legend WiFi 6E. It’s a feature-rich and stable platform that has successfully integrated a powerful suite of components (CPU, GPU, fast M.2 storage, and DDR5 memory) into a well-cooled and visually appealing setup within the NZXT H6 Flow. It provides all the necessary ports and robust features for a modern, high-performance build like mine, making it a strong recommendation.

Solid performance and future-proof features. Just love it
Built a PC around this ASRock B650 Steel Legend paired with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an NVIDIA 4070 Ti Super, and it’s been rock solid. The motherboard handles the CPU’s power demands smoothly with a robust VRM design, keeping temperatures in check even under load. It has all connections for LED and FansAesthetically, the black-and-white color scheme fits perfectly with my build theme, giving it a clean, modern look. Connectivity options are plentiful: multiple M.2 slots with 1 that has PCIe Gen 5 support for expansion cards and storage, plenty of USB ports, and integrated WiFi 6E that offers fast, stable wireless networking.The BIOS is intuitive and stable, making overclocking and tweaking straightforward. AsRock MBs are my go to
This is my second AsRock B650. The value is great. I've installed them in two different Fractal Design cases and I've not had a single installation issue. Boot times are fast, BIOS software is easy to undervolt CPU with. I've never had a Wi-Fi connection issue and it has all the features needed, except another M2 slot would be nice but with the space limits of the board, it's understandable. I will say that the second M2 slot is on the back so you will need a heat sink if you want to use it.

Buena, aunque con puntos para mejorar
Compré la maiboard ASRock B650 Steel Legend WiFi por su calidad/precio, pues incluye el slot PCEi 5.0 x16, disipadores para los nvmes, un diseño visual diferente y otras características llamativas en su rango de precio.Mi experiencia:La instalación inicial de la mainboard fue de acuerdo a lo indicado en el manual. Actualicé la BIOS sin haber colocado el CPU o la memoria RAM, tomando pocos minutos y sin problemas. Luego instalé el CPU, RAM y NVME, di el primer arranque al equipo, accedí al BIOS y verifiqué que todos los componentes instalados habían sido detectados correctamente y seguí el proceso de instalación del sistema operativo (Windows 11).Luego de instalado el sistema operativo, regresé a la configuración de BIOS para actualizar algunos valores como el perfil de OC para la memoria RAM y valores de undervolt para el CPU. Ambos funcionaron muy bien, pues al reiniciar el equipo, verifiqué los cambios y obtuve mi memoria Ram trabajando a 6400Mt/s y mi CPU a 1.05V (con lo cual gané bajar notablemente su temperatura máxima). En la BIOS también modifiqué algunos parámetros en la herramienta para control de RGB solo para verificar que la misma funcione.Uno de los pasos finales fue la instalación de la tarjeta de video en el slot PCEi 5.0 x16. La cual fue sencilla y no presentó problemas.Algunas novedades:- El acceso a la BIOS es desesperante. 82 segundos en promedio para acceder, al menos en mi caso.- El software ASRock Polychrome RGB no funciona, ni siquiera logra iniciar. Luego de tener el problema y buscar en la web, encontré que otros usuarios lo han reportado también. Ya contacté al soporte de la marca y hasta el momento me han brindado sugerencias para resolverlo, pero aun no se soluciona.- El color de la mainboard parece más claro en las fotos de la descripción.
