Good performance from budget DDR3 laptop memory
Purchased 8 GB of the “green” RAM sticks (2 x 4GB. DDR3 laptop sized memory) for $37.The plan was to put them in my ancient, nearly-dead, mostly unusable late 2008 MacBook.I also purchased a cheap 256 GB SSD to put in that thing. Combined purchase around $70.The SSD made a HUGE difference. The RAM has had a smaller difference but really improves my ability to open multiple tabs and still be stable.Memory sticks arrived quickly, were in a nice safe box, and were easy to install. They appear to be working perfectly so far.I will update this review if they stop working prematurely or cause any problems.

Works like a charm and the price is right
Bought this 2x4GB memory upgrade to help out my 10-year old Asus UL30VT. It came equipped with 2x2GB, a lot at the time but not so today. What convinced me to make this upgrade is that the resource monitor showed memory in use routinely near its 4GB limit. When this happens the computer resorts to a so-called paging file where it writes memory to and from disk in order to keep up. This slows the computer down a lot and puts extra demand on the hard disk. Now my laptop is noticeably faster and memory in use exceeds its former 4GB limit most of the time, suggesting my guess was right. An excellent investment especially considering the low price. My laptop has a new lease on life! What attracted me to this particular company was their well done write-up and all around impression that they really care. Other reviewers have noticed this as well.

Made my late 2008 15" MacBook Pro like new
My MacBook Pro was starting to slow down which was somewhat expected for a 12 year old computer. I was thinking about scrapping it and buying a new MacBook Air. Started thinking about the other issues with the computer besides its speed (ie battery doesn't hold a charge, charger is positional, the tops of a couple kets missing and track pad doesn't work anymore). I started researching the cost for replacing/upgrading these items. Turns out it cost less than $100 solve most of these issues. In addition the the RAM upgrade ($37), I also bought a 85W charger ($22) and a replacement battery ($33). All bought through Amazon. I can live with a couple keys missing (but still functional) and I use a bluetooth mouse instead of the track pad.In regards to the RAM, I was amazed on how fast the computer was running after I installed the new modules. Swapping out the RAM modules took less than 5 minutes. I Installed the two 4 GB RAM modules which doubled the original amount of RAM. Now applications start up lightning fast. So happy I tried this first instead of paying $1000 (minimum) to buy a new MacBook. It really is like having a new computer. If you're questioning whether or not to upgrade your RAM, I would highly recommend it. Minimal cost, easy to install, and makes a huge difference to the computer's performance.Charger seems quality, time will tell if it holds up but has solved the issue of the charging port being positional.Replacement battery arrives later this week.

Just what the doctor ordered - good value, nice upgrade for me.
My older desktop was beginning to operate at a snails pace. Bloatware, constant use, upgrades, etc. I figured I could give it a new boost from 8gb to 16gb of RAM and also replace the HDD with a SDD main drive. I essentially have a new computer for a little over $100. Be aware when looking for RAM cards both the style (DDR3) and speed (PC3-10600). I had overlooked the speed aspect and had purchased a set with a PC3-12800. Unfortunately, those were too fast and my motherboard couldn't see them (face palm). Once I figured out my mistake, Amazon was very good at the return and replacement for these, which work wonderfully. I use this desktop as my home theater pc (HTPC) running PLEX and also with a usb hauppauge dual tuner connected to a $40 RCA antennae I placed in my attic, and have completely cut the cord and have a wonderful free dvr for over the air (OTA) channels. I receive all the available channels in my area (51) at full strength and a few from about 70 miles away with moderate strength. The resolution is actually better than I had with my cable provider. Excuse that sidebar, but I wanted to show that I am using these constantly with the PLEX server and have had no issues at all. I am very happy with these and the new set up. Install is super easy. Just remove the old RAM cards and pop these in, close your cover and restart.... you're good to go!

Upgraded our Gateway SX2850 from 8GB to 12GB RAM
I used this 8GB upgrade (2 x 4GB pair) on my Gateway SX2850-UB10P. Like many users, my wife likes to keep many apps open all the time, such as multiple Excel, and Firefox with lots of tabs open, which on Windows 7 tends to eat up large amounts of memory. This PC came with 8GB, but she was really pushing up against that limit almost on a daily basis. Once usage gets above the 7GB level, everything runs much slower as the OS has to constantly swap large blocks of memory in and out to disk. So I decided to increase the RAM.The PC's original DRAM memory size was 8GB, installed as four 2GB DDR sticks in four slots. Memory has to be upgraded on this PC with matching pairs of DDR sticks. Removing one 4GB pair of DDRs and replacing them with this 8GB pair (and leaving the other original 4GB pair as is in the other two slots) resulted in a new total DRAM of 12GB (2 x 2GB + 2 x 4GB), a net increase of +4GB.Crucial.com and other sites note that this PC has an 8GB limit, but it actually seems limited only by what can physically be installed in those four slots. Both the PC motherboard and the Win7 OS had no trouble detecting the extra memory after rebooting. Note that you will need extra free space on your hard drive before the reboot, because the OS has to create a new larger paging file (pagefile.sys) to handle the larger total RAM. So it is wise to delete as much as you can from the disk (and perhaps run a disk defrag as well) before you upgrade the DRAM. So far I have not seen any ill effects of having the extra RAM above 8GB.With 12GB now, my wife's PC has 50% more RAM ceiling room when she runs all of her apps.

Work perfectly with an Apple iMac 27" late 2013
I ordered those additional memory modules after having ordered ones from another brand which appeared faulty / incompatible with my Mac despite being branded as such. And i have to say those Duomeiqi modules just works perfectly on my Mac. Installation done in a less than a minute, powering off and immediately recognised and working well with my existing ones. I have as a result been able to increase my RAM from 16Gb to 32Gb and I can notice the positive difference.Only one "surprise": the packaging. The modules are delivered in a nice and protective metal box (well done) but where nothing indicate they are brand new ones. It could be reconditioning / used one as they were not in any particular "bag". Anyway, they are doing what they are asked which is the most important thingI recommend

Didn't work on Mid 2010 iMac 27
I doubt there is anything actually wrong with this 8GB memory module although I should mention it is not in a sealed pack as all new memory usually is. It is packed in the correct plastic casing but there is no security seal on it so whether this is actually new is open for debate. However the main issue is it states it is compatible with Mac, PC etc and indeed going on the specs it "should" be compatible with a Mid 2010 iMac 27 but, it is not. Apparently this model of Mac was particularly sensitive to the type of memory installed so you need to make absolutely sure you get it right. Crucial and OWC seem to be the memory most go for, although a bit more expensive it does at least work.To sum up, I think this memory would work fine in a PC laptop and probably in some Macbook's but definitely not in a Mid 2010 iMac 27.

Works as expected.
Difficulty of installation will depend on your laptop and whether there is an easy access panel to get to the memory slots. Mine was a pain in the rear as it required a motherboard removal as the memory slots were on the underside and there is no access panel on the bottom. Take lots of pictures and take a look for you laptop dismantling guide on YouTube videos which I'm 99% sure someone would have uploaded. Durability again is unable to be done as I have only just got it so time will tell. Value for money is outstanding as was delivery. Ran CPU-Z and showed that my existing and new memory is running at the same speed and timings which is great and now 16GB in dual channel mode makes a really good increase in performance which was a pleasant surprise. Would I buy again? dead right I would.

Cost effective and easy upgrade for your Mac Book Pro
I bought a second hand Mac book pro and wanted to max it out to get its full potential. So the memory was an easy starting point. I bought the DUOMEIQI 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR3L / DDR3 1600MHz SODIMM PC3L / PC3-12800. It arrived in a small metal tin with a foam insert. I was disappointed the memory was not in any kind of antistatic bag but it seemed fine. Anyone who has done a memory upgrade will know how easy it is - out with the old and in with the new. Started up my Mac and done. Its running perfectly so all is good - I'd definitely recommend it. It has dropped in price since I bought mine so a bit gutted there but that's life :)

The Gamble paid off.... Perfect!
Well as the title says,I gambled and didn't mind paying a little more than I wanted, But it's worth it as these modules(2x 8Gbts) worked a treat.Very easy to fit (I'm a electronics and computer engineer) and run a test program? Sure enough they tested 100% (15.7Gbts) of Ram running @ 128000.I know I've paid a little more than from other suppliers (Ebay) but it's worth having peace of mind with full warranty and easy return (not needed in this instance) So I'm very happy with these modules and they are 100% genuine. So I'd strongly recommend these modules and now having 16Gbts at my disposal and my computer boots up 5.5 seconds faster now (SSD 256Gbts) drive on Windows 10 Pro.Absolutely perfect! One very happy chappy.Joner04/12/2019Nice Work Amazon.
