RabMen's Downpour Eco Waterproof Breathable Jacket for Hiking & Climbing

I really liked that this product has zipper pockets and is loose enough but can be tightened if need be. It's very waterproof. I was in the rain for 4 days with this jacket and never once did the water soak through. i recommended getting 1 size larger because it fits to perfect. It breathes and is light weight. I got an XL and it was perfect because I could cinch down the sides the waist of the jacket is a bit tight.

Used it as a “hard shell” jacket for the first time on a 6 mile hike in the white mountains. I bought the marmalade/ beluga and the orange/ navy blue combo is perfect! The waterproof/ breathability rating are 20,000 each which is a lot more than the run of the mill jacket. Simple decision here, buy it.

rab gear is tops in all the important areas, this raincoat works amazing well in comparison to my " store bought " coat that would soak through, not so in this rab

I am on my second Rab rain jacket. On the first one, the zipper became stuck, and in an effort the escape what had essentially become a straight jacket, I broke the zipper. This was maybe the second time I wore it. I received my refund from Amazon, and assumed perhaps it was a case of user error, so I decided to try the same company and purchased another one. Now the second jacket has been just as difficult to escape from. The other night while biking with the zipper pulled all the way up, it twice became stuck while unzipping. This is the most difficult zipper I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend buying one. Sorry.

The raincoat fits well and looks great. Light and packable.

I absolutely love this jacket. It's completely waterproof, stylish and very well made. RAB is a great brand and the product is well worth the money. The jacket stuffs into it's own pocket (look for the pocket with 2 zip tags - one on the outside, one on the inside) This is great so you don't have an extra bag to carry around or lose. It press stud closes at the top and bottom for extra security and has underarm vents for breathability. I love the reinforced peaked hood and the pull tag to secure.About the seller.Through no fault of the seller I had to return the jacket and the guys at Taunton Leisure were simply awesome. They expedited the exchange in a kind, curteous and professional manner and I am extremely happy with the service I received. 10/10 would buy from this store again.

Very nicely manufactured, very comfortable to wear even in humid conditions and stops the rain. Very pleased.

The Rab Men's Downpour Eco Waterproof Breathable Jacket does what it is supposed to do in terms of keeping out the wind and rain.As you would expect, it's not quite as breathable as more expensive waterproof jackets but it is more than adequate. It also has adjustable velcro sleeves, a great storm hood and deep, zip-fastened pockets.However, the main zip at the front has a serious design flaw. 9 times out of 10, it catches on the jacket lining and has to be freed. This is the main reason why this review is four stars not five.

Just what my husband needed. I stylish lightweight jacket, easy to carry and very useful for taking with you on trips when rain forecast.

I read so many reviews to buy this. Seemed like an amazing product, but my experience has been poor overall.I loved the cut and fit and it is very lightweight.However, it is not, I repeat NOT waterproof or resistant. It wets out in under 5 minutes and then clothing and hair is wet underneath. I have products that I use which are a 5th of the cost which are far more efficient.The hood toggle works well, but otherwise an utter waste of £130. I would never buy again from Rab as a brand new item should be so much more capable for the cost.I wear a lot of waterproofs as I predominantly work outdoors and this is disappointingly the worst product I have ever bought for that purpose.
