RiderMountSunshade GPS Case with RAM Type 1" Ball (Medium)

There is nothing that I don't like about this case. the quality and workmanship is beyond good. I was afraid the sunshade would be flimsly but it's sturdy and holds up to cycle wind. I purchased one without the sunshade and it not only leaked but the glare was unbareable.. spend the few $$ extra for this one..It's well worth it..thanks

This is NOT a 1 inch ball as my tape measure shows! Extremely disappointed! Also, the ball is not attached to the holder, but rather it is attached to the mount for the handlebars! Great holder, but won't work with my 1 inch arm! Don't buy this product unless you can accommodate the small ,slightly over 1/2 inch ball!Update, correct item sent, works awesome!

The concept is good but the execution is lacking. Two major problems - The ball mount and the clear plastic window. The ball mount is a clip on and comes loose with handlebar vibrations from going over bumps. I superglued it on so hopefully that will fix the problem. The other problem is that even with all the provided padding inside, the GPS screen is not flush with the clear plastic window (I have a nuvi 57). The gap between the plastic window and GPS screen just makes viewing it worse on a sunny day. So, I cut that clear plastic out. There is still enough GPS in there to be secure but now I can actually read the screen in most conditions. You do have to angle it so it's as close to vertical as possible while still being able to see the screen. Good concept and maybe a 2.0 version that has actually been through road testing will fix the problems. In the meantime I do not recommend for the price.

Mounted this on a ball mount on my Honda GoldWing. Layers of rubber used to create snug fit. Trim around power cord. Hood makes screen visible in full daylight. Much cheaper to use standard GPS and this rather than a ruggedized Garmon costing $400 to $500.

Added to my snowmobile worked really well to move between differ sleds and atv

Good product this is my second one I use two of them on my dash and one on the steaming wheel

This is not really completely water proof. I had moisture get inside and get my GPS damp.

This is a great item 5 stars! I rode for 8 hours in pouring down rain and the gps remained dry. The mount blocks the sun glare on sunny days.

I order this product and when I order the wrong size. I received excellant customer service in returning my product and getting the right size I needed. This product is what I was looking for, as I could not find anything in the store. It is well made and looks great too. Works great. I ran through a lot of rain this spring and summer. The only problem is my power adapter stretches the zipper. It's tight.

Fast shippingMy Garmin 1390 fits good and view was great. I could even use my glove on hand to work the GPS. I didn't use it in the rain
