Product worked exactly as advertised - very easy to install. Quick button release works very well and popping the phone in/out can be easily done with one hand. I have a Pixel 3 XL with a thin rubber case and use the mount on a Hyundai Tuscon.I've tried the mount in multiple positions to find what works best - nice to have the option of reversing the mount to hold the phone either higher or lower on the dashboard as the ball/socket adjuster so I could try different configurations.I read reviews on several similar products and saw that many reviews were buying the Cuxwill product after failures with other options. This the first one I tried and it works great. My only worry is that my wife might "borrow" it for her car. If so, I'll be back for another one.

I was originally a little wary about using this product. However, after installing the holder into my CD slot and placing my phone in the holder I find that it holds my smart phone securely and within easy reach. It places my smart phone in just about the perfect place so that the screen is easily seen and is within easy reach if I need to use the touchscreen. So far it has remained securely in the CD slot and I’m still able to play my CDs.

I love this thing. It fits into the cd slot perfectly, fits all the way across the slot unlike some others I've tried that are only 2, 2.5 inches across. The quick release button is my second favorite feature on this. Press the button and the arms open. Simple enough. My favorite feature is that it cradles the phone. The bottom supports are cupped and the side arms are also cupped so the phone is held like a warm hug from an old friend. I also like how when the cd slot attachment is tightened up properly it just feels like part of the car. It's not going anywhere. My only complaint is that it covers my consol monitor on my dash. Which I shouldn't be looking at when I drive anyway.

Been using it for very long time. Very well made, very good price. Actually using it to hold my Bose speaker, so I can watch videos with good sound on my iPhone – that's how good it is if you are tightening the screw with a pair of pliers so it will be able to hold something as heavy as the speaker.

The fit is tight and had to push one corner in first and then slide over and push the rest in. Note the holder can be installed with the screw up or down which is nice since it moves the phone higher or lower on the dash so you can pick the best location. I cut the screw shorter so it would not block the view of things on the dash. I also cut the plastic knob used to tighten the screw to likewise minimize it blocking the view of the dash.UPDATE - worked so well bought a second one for another vehicle.

This is awesome item. It's everything that they advertised. I put it in my all cars with CD slot and it fits perfectly for each car. Overall, 5 stars. It's better than the windshield suction mount I've ever used and never loosed off.I use it with a iPhone 7 plus with a small case on it and it works great and should fit even if I upgrade my phone. It's easy to get the phone in and out and fits securely without crushing.I would definitely recommend this product. It is best one I've used and easily insert and remove the iPhone from this mount with just one hand.

Due to the new hands free law in Georgia I needed a car mount that would hold my phone securely. This is perfect!! The first one I hought that plugged in to the charging slot would not stay upright, it was too top heavy. This is perfect for me! I have a 2002 Tahoe and it being held in by the CD player puts it up high that I can see the phone perfectly and it is not in the way of the AC buttons. Wish I had purchased this one right off the bat!!! I LOVE THIS MOUNT!!!!!

I love this mount. It holds my phone tightly and it doesn't jiggle around. Just a push of a button releases the phone. The only thing I didn't like is that it blocks my clock on my radio, but I guess you really can't blame the mount for that. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in the market four a car mount phone holder.
