This camera definitely has the oem look and nice wide view. The install was easy in my 03’ Honda Element. Plug straight into the aftermarket head unit.

My super duty truck didn't come with a backup camera so I had an older backup camera system where the camera mounted just above the license plate and I would hit it sometimes or things would occasionally fall on it, I was always nervous of damaging it because of the spot it was in, plus I couldn't really see the ball of my hitch when trying to backup a trailer, it helped out alot to line me up but knowing how far back I needed to go was still a small challengeNow that I have this cam7 backup camera that has the oem style attachment to it, I mounted to the left corner of my tailgate handle as shown in the picture and it looks like it belongs there, it's out of the way, securely mounted and just plain works in that spot, so much better than the older style backup camera, I can actually see the ball of my hitch now, such an all around big improvement, the camera picture quality is great, the build quality is great, the install was super easy since I plugged it into the new autovox t9 pro system, you won't need to use the extra set of video cables that the camera comes withVery satisfied with my purchase, 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Robust camera. It works perfectly with my car stereo radio for Hyundai Tucson 2014 [2+64G] 9.7 Inch Vertical Touch Screen with GPS Navigation Mirror Link Bluetooth WiFi FM RDS Backup Camera.

Wide angle is nice, and the image is clear (no “fish-eye”). I like the OEM look. Installation was a bit of a challenge because the wires are RIDICULOUSLY THIN. Standard wire taps won’t make contact. You will want to solder the connections. The smallest connectors I could find in stores are 22 gauge and these wires are too small for them.

Very easy to install and the directions included were easy to understand. I did drill a hole to help secure it to the grill. The image quality is good and the added ability for me to be able to see in front of me as the hood of the truck blocks a lot of my view is the whole reason I added it. Very helpful in tighter spots at camp grounds when trying to get the camper into its spot.

For my 2010 Gen3 Toyota Prius that had no backup camera, I wanted to upgrade the stereo to a CarPlay Android unit & add a backup camera.I bought a "Roinvou 2+64G Android 13 CarPlay Stereo for 2010-2015 Toyota Prius(w/JBL)…” that included a backup camera, but I wanted a backup camera that looked like the Toyota OEM camera. So, I bought this AUTO-VOX Cam7.The AUTO-VOX seems high quality in materials & build quality.Heads up that for a 2010/Gen3 Prius, the included cables are too short. AUTO-VOX product documentation states that they provide extension cables at no charge in that case (which they did). I needed a 10 foot extension.This camera uses a smaller diameter video cable connector than RCA connectors, which make it easier to fish the cable through tight holes.It looks very clean installed.I love the super wide angle view. it makes it so much easier & safer to back out because you can "see" around parked cars.Heads up that this camera doesn't show backup guidelines.I highly recommend this camera if you're looking for OEM-look, wide angle, easy to install & don't need back up guidelines.

I bought this camera to pair with the an android head unit I had just installed. It’s described as having a fisheye correction, but this camera looks worse than the one that came with my stereo. I purchased this one because it looked more sleek and had a more oem look than the cheap square one that came with the stereo. The other thing is I’m not sure how to remove the guidelines on the camera, there is nothing in the manual about doing that so I’m stuck with double guidelines being displayed. The video quality is good if it wasn’t for the awkward fisheye lens.

It’s got good color good definition the problem is the angle of the lens is so wide it’s not a cone so you don’t really see if your bumper is gonna hit a vehicle so but as far as the clarity, it’s really good clarity and good enough for my mom
