My son is really happy toy. He loves using the remote control. He plays with it both inside and outside the house. It handles hills perfectly. The response is great, it drives fast, and the colors make it even more fun and exciting. The item comes as described, it is lightweight and ready to use, all you have to do is pop in the batteries. It doesnt come batteries nor is it able to charge. But for the price it is okay. It not too loud either so for that I am happy.It makes a fantastic gift.

We bought this for our five year old grandson. The car operates best on asphalt or flat surfaces. It struggles on grass. It doesn't climb, even over thin slate stones. Not a lot of power. Not really an "off- road" toy. The controls are also not easy to operate. Overall, my grandson enjoyed it for his age. Not sure older kids would.
