The Finest Depression Crystal Door Knob Sets, Reproductions of early 1900's antique Knobs. Both Versions will fit all Modern Pre-Drilled Doors with Standard 2-3/8" or Non-Standard 2-3/4" backset, 2-3/8" is the industry standard, when in doubt choose 2-3/8" (Backset is the distance from the front edge of the door to the middle of the Pre-drilled hole, See accompanying image). -VERSION 1.0 is our most affordable set and is more labor intensive, requiring hot gluing (or wood glu) of the custom wood adapters. Screws visible on both rosette backplates on Ver 1.0. Installation is as simple as (1) Install Latch (2) Glue wood adapters with hot glue gun (Or wood glu if not available)(3) Secure door plates by tightening the Knobs (4) drill pilot holes and fasten door plates with wood screw (5) Then Adjust the door knobs and Bolt securely to the square side of the spindle. -VERSION 2.0 requires less labor, very simple instillation with our self-connecting rosette backplates (no gluing required). Also Includes our Exclusive O'Ring Washer to insure a prefect fit between Knob and Rosette. Screws only visible on one Rosette Backplate on Ver 2.0. OPTION EXPLANATION: Privacy - Door swings into Room; Custom Privacy - Door Swings into Hall; Standard French Door - Knobs on both sides of 1 door; Surface Mount - Knobs on 1 side of 2 doors.
