ZEISSFlip-Up and Fold-Flat Pro Lens Cover Protects Objective Lens for Riflescopes from Dirt, Mud, and Rain

No issues with the product itself, it is an excellent, albeit expensive item. My issue is with the measurements. I have a Conquest V4, 6-24x50 scope that has an objective lens bell diameter of 56mm. I ordered, using the 56mm option and the product I received was stamped 2.441 inches, which is 62mm. Didn't fit. Did the exchange routine, specified my issue, and again selected the 56mm option. Got an email saying my 56mm/2.560 cover is coming. 2.560"=65mm. Tried to correct this with customer service, and it was impossible to understand the otherwise very helpful person. I have no idea what will next transpire. I will get another item that won't fit, I will get nothing and a refund? Don't know. I completely give up. There is no way to select the proper measurement, BUT, the item is well made and won't come off if you can properly install it.

I use this on an S3. Should be supplied with the scope. Flip up, flip flat, tool holder- all great features

Last week I picked up a Zeiss LRP S3 6-36Х56 optic. They are not cheap. These provide "armor" for your ocular & objective lenses. Very well built, perfect fit and finish, they can also lay flat, so they are out of your peripheral vision. Very easy install and comes with tool.

I selected the lens caps and bought two for the V4. The only thing was the cap on the ocular side and the cap for the objective side are two different sizes. I needed a 44 mm and a 50 mm. I returned and bought the 50 mm cap TWO MORE TIMES but each time it came with a 2.26” or 54 mm cap in a blister pack that said “50 mm”. I think because this particular scope has two different sized caps.. you can’t simply select V4 without KNOWING your diameter measurements. Whoever is selling or shipping these things has had many returns.. and they don’t know what they’re doing or they are not looking inside the packaging to ensure the item matches the description in the package. I don’t think Zeiss is making this mistake.. feels like an Amazon seller mistake. 😣

I put this on my V4 and it works very well. It’s top quality and very secure. I thought this came with the rear cap when I purchased it, otherwise I would never have bought just the front cap for $50. $80 for two plastic caps is silly, I should have looked first. I will keep it since I have it, it is a nice product.

Imagine a listing for a pair of shoes with both shoes pictured, but when it arrives you only get the left shoe.$50 is insane for a pair of rifle covers but this is only for ONE.Misleading and nonsensical, who would want to buy just one half of a scope cover?
