Boardwalk 1490 Clip-On Dust Mop Handle, Lacquered Wood, Swivel Head, 1" Dia. x 60in Long

Replacing some old dust mop handles where the spring force had worn out and the mop heads would just pop off. These have good spring force. The metal isn't as heavy as my old ones. Not sure if that will mean anything or not.

Handle is sturdy and long enough to give you extra reach without bending. I always remove the plastic piece that locks the head into stationary position. I prefer the swivel. Smooth finish on wooden handle.

Don't pay any attention to your wife who probably insists on vacuuming and mopping your hardwood floors every week which only damages them. Buy this along with the 24" mophead and 24" mophead frame and you'll keep your hardwood floors clean and dust free in minutes instead of hours. Seriously. Those micro-fiber things with the handle that's about a foot too short for any adult are worthless--this tool is tried and true and while it won't pick up liquids or dried-on liquids, it'll pick up pet hair, dust, lint, crumbs, and anything else you'd expect to find on the floor. And it'll last forever, too. Promise you, your wife will hate it because it looks so "industrial." Know why? Because it IS industrial! And that means if it didn't work, then industries wouldn't buy it to sweep their floors. I worked at a grocery store all through high school and college and this is what we used to sweep the aisles every night of the week. Sure, we'd also mop them on Saturday night and then strip, mop, and wax them on Wednesday night, but I don't have as much traffic in my house as there is in a grocery store. I bought this so that ~I~ could clean the floors in about 5 minutes rather than listen to her run that damned vacuum cleaner for half an hour. So far, so good.

The clamp is not that strong and at a strange angle. It works, but I don't expect it to last, and it may scratch wood floors if used at the wrong angle.

I might have given this a 5-star review, but I tend to do that for products that are *better* than expected. This product was exactly as expected, and works precisely as intended. In using it, I also purchased a Rubbermaid commercial dustmop head and the Unisan clip-on dustmop frame. As a unit, they work, no muss, no fuss.I would recommend this frame and this combination to anyone needing a dustmop larger than the commonly available 24".

It’s ok

After using several expensive "home" quality dusters for my home's hardwood floors, I started looking for a top quality commercial duster. These items don't disappoint!Purchased the UNISAN 24" clip-on Dust Mop Frame, UNISAN clip-on Dust Mop Handle, and UNISAN Industrial 24" Dust Mop Head. All three where less expensive than any of previous duster I have purchase, and FAR more sturdy! Excellent!!
