LOVE this little sofabed!!!
[UPDATE below.] This review is overdue- I've been using this futon in my travel trailer for the last few months. I LOVE it. I received it much faster than expected, about a week after ordering. Already assembled, you just screw the legs in (they're heavy, lovely wood). I originally intended this for the living room of my small travel trailer, but found that it's heavenly to sleep on, so moved it into the bedroom. Though quite comfy to sit on as well, after a few hours of watching TV or computing my bum begins to hurt- it's quite firm to sit on. Easily remedied with a pad or a pillow, but it's PERFECT for sleeping on, with your body weight distributed across the surface. Can't feel the frame at all, puffy and well-padded. I have back problems and have trouble sleeping if everything isn't just right; I sleep through the night on this, wake up pain-free and refreshed. I would add though that it may take some time to adjust to the smaller surface area, especially if you're used to sleeping on something much larger. The material is SO soft, velour-like, and a beautiful color. Everything about this futon says "quality". Best of all is the very small footprint, this is about the smallest, most space-saving futon you can buy (see dimensions below). I'm 5'3" and it's fine for me; if you're much taller your feet may hang off (though my 6' tall brother slept on it and didn't mind- said he slept like a rock, "super comfy". The back folds down, though can't support your full weight (it'll tip backwards)- if you want to have your torso on it you'll need a support of some kind underneath (it's fine though for extending your arms or legs onto). I tend to sleep on the seat portion with my two cats stretched out on the back part, I think it would also be suitable for a baby or toddler (with support)..Correction: I should say this is about the smallest futon available with a back that folds down. There's a similar one, size-wize (though the seat is 30" deep, as opposed to this one, which is 24" deep), which has a NON-reclining back. So technically it's smaller, shallower, when made down into a bed. It's here: Futon Lounger . I didn't choose that one because I wanted the option of stretching out some, and am glad I did because the back is perfect for pets. Also, since I have so little room, I've found it extremely useful to put down the back and arms, sit cross-legged on it (or sit on my hassock, which actually doubles as a Porta-Potty ) and spread out files and papers, also to sort, fold and stack laundry. As with many futons and convertible sofas, the arms and back adjust with a ratcheting mechanism, like that on lawnchairs or window shades (to adjust you pull them all the way down as far as they'll go, then move up in increments, stopping where you want). The mechanism works smoothly. Note that in the photos in the listing the arms are not fully raised- I was gratified to find that they go all the way up, at right angles to the seat, like a regular loveseat (see my photo- the left arm is fully up, the right one down (with headphones laying on it), and the back is down with my cat sleeping on it- er, excuse the mess). Another great thing is that the cover is removable and washable. A bonus there is that this affords the opportunity to insert additional foam or batting as the original stuffing becomes compressed, to say nothing of having a handy template from which to make a new cover whenever desired. I've owned many convertible sofas/loveseats/chairs and futons, and I love everything about this one, it ticks all the boxes. Highest recommendation!Dimensions (measurements are approximate): the seat, the part you sit on, from front to back is about 24" deep with the back upright, about 43" wide with the arms upright. The top of the seat is 14-15 inches from the floor. With the arms folded down, the seat or main sleeping area is about 67" wide (and no, you can't sit on the folded-down arms, but you can straddle them by a few inches, about 1/2 their width, if that makes sense). With the back folded down (it's about 22" high when upright, 43" wide), that adds another 22" in depth (front to back), and 43" in width (from side to side) to the center of the sleeping area.UPDATE: So I've been basically living on this sofabed for 10 months. I ended up spending most of my time in the bedroom, best wifi signal, etc. A couple months ago I noticed the puffy stuffing on the seat portion (not the back portion) beginning to become depressed after so much use, particularly from sitting on, recently got to the point of being able to feel the metal frame. So, I'm in the process of moving (had enough of tiny living, thank-you) and decided to replace the foam/batting inside to render it as good as new.As mentioned above, it was indeed a very simple matter to unzip the cover and get inside. Beforehand I ordered a 1" H x 24" W x 72" L piece of High Density Upholstery Foam and a roll of Batting Material-Thick and Lightweight - 60" X 36" , after reading reviews, both high quality. As it happened, I was overwhelmed later and up against deadlines, so didn't do this slow and deliberately- also, the arms weren't depressed at all, since you don't sit on them and when sleeping your head and feet aren't heavy enough to compress the material. So, after removing the legs, I didn't bother to take the cover off the arms, just unzipped the zipper across the front of the seat portion, and found it a quick and easy fix to just insert a piece of the foam cut to seat size right on top of the existing foam. I had plenty of foam, enough to cut a 2nd seat-size square, and I believe it too would've fit inside, between the existing foam and the cover. Sewn onto the underside of the cover is a plastic grid (that creates the pattern of puffy squares)- each has batting material within, and each square has a slit so you can remove it/replace it. I didn't take the time to do that, but I can tell you it is indeed a very simple matter to do. The 1" high density foam piece was sufficient to restore comfort for the time being. Anyway, I'm more impressed than EVER with the workmanship of this sofa- couldn't BE any more user-friendly. And, I've lifted and lowered the back and the arms a zillion times, the ratcheting mechanisms continue to work flawlessly. I'm going to put this clever little thing in my new guest room. One of the best purchases I ever made!

So pleased!
Exactly what I was looking for! It is small, which is what I wanted (matches the dimensions listed in the description so check that out), takes no more than two minutes to assemble (all you have to do is screw on the legs, no tools required), easy to fold out, and it is SO comfortable! Was so impressed with how comfortable it is to sit and lay on. You can feel the frame in some cheaper futons but not this one! When folded out it is a perfect size for me, and I am 5'4. Anyone significantly taller than that may hang off of it though. The item was delivered in TWO days with free shipping! It even came with two matching, comfortable pillows even though the description didn't mention them! Also, the outer gray covering can be removed to be washed.Couldn't be more pleased.

Great Quality for the Price!
I am surprised how nice and attractive this futon is. My 10.5 YO daughter wanted it for a "hangout" space she was creating in her room and at first I was quite skeptical. It looks great, nice fabric, durable and comfortable for what it is. It's is small, but perfect for my daughters concept. Would highly recommend.

Arrived SUPER quickly, the estimated delivery date was August 2 ...
Arrived SUPER quickly, the estimated delivery date was August 2 and I received it by July 31st. Couch is just the right size for a small apartment. I wanted my NYC room to have a mini "living room" section, complete w/ TV and couch, and this was the perfect fit. The dimensions are as mentioned (about 43'' wide with arms folded up), which was my biggest concern. The only set up you need is to screw the four legs in, there's even 4 round floor cushion stickers you can stick on the bottom of each legs to protect the floor. The couch itself is surprisingly comfortable and has plenty of cushion. I looked all over Amazon for couches/loveseats that were reasonably priced and could fit in small spaces (without just being a kid's couch), and I honestly could not be more satisfied. I usually don't leave comments, but this one deserves a shoutout. I tried to look up the seller (qubangus2018) to see their other products and they have pretty stellar ratings across the board. Great product, thank you!

I am so happy with my little love seat
I am so happy with my little love seat! It arrived today, right on time, and I was able to transport it from the car port to the living room.by myself. (I am an 82 year old widow) Everything went well in assembling it except for the legs which I could not get in tight. (will get some help with the kids on that). The color is beautiful, and the construction seems very sturdy I am relocating to a small apartment so this is going to be perfect .Thank you so much. it is perfect.

Good price, wouldn't sleep on unless you're a tiny person.
So, this couch is awesome for the price. I like how soft it is, and it's comfortable to relax on.You can't sleep on it with the back tilted back however, or you will fall over. It's narrow, but we knew that when we saw the dimensions. Because of this however, it's not recommended for sleeping in my opinion unless you're very tiny. Also, it arrived in a VERY badly beat up box with holes in it and was definitely from a foreign country, probably China. We were lucky that it came with all the parts! It has two extra gray pillows that it comes with as well. All in all, I'm happy with it for our RV, but the shipping box was awful, and I wouldn't sleep on it long term.

VERY cute and comfy!
Love this couch! Very compact size but still roomy enough for two people to site or one person to stretch out very comfortably. Plush comfy and really cute and versatile design. Love the easy to clean function of it and was perfect for our small size sitting room we intended this for.
