The switch is relatively easy to install and use. Just make sure you read the enclosed instruction thoroughly before installing to understand. If you're not technical enough, hire a certified electrician. Also, make sure the dimension of the switch fits your electrical box! And also account for the wires inside, as sometimes they can block your installation.Once everything is installed you need to download the app. After that, use Echo to set up and discover the device. Then you can delete the app. I don't use the app, as now I can just use Echo to control the devices.I attached pictures with the measurements to help you.

This device was easy to install and it works great. Wish it had a ground but otherwise perfect. If you are doing a retro fit with a 3 gang switch get two half plates from Homedepot or Lowe’s and put switch in the middle.

I think the product is very nice. My unit had some issues when it came. I liked it very much when it worked, but it randomly turned lights on throughout the night or would randomly disconnect from the wifi and the only way to turn it back on was tripping the circuit breaker (there is no option in the app to reconnect). I contacted the seller, and they responded promptly and replaced the product for me. They provide excellent support and service.Pros:-Looks nice (I like how it looks in person better than the picture online)-Good functionality-App is basic and easy to use-Great customer supportCons:-Does NOT cover a 3 gang box. It is the size of a 1 gang box. I covered one side of my 3 gang with the unit and one with a cover plate, but there is still some space in the middle. They say this on the listing, but it bears repeating.- App is a little basic- No way to reconnect to network from the app. Must disconnect from power- My unit had some issues. Will see when the new unit arrives if these are fixed.

It works fine when it works. But there are times that it just disconnects from the internet and this could go on for a day or two. When this happens you cannot control with google home or the android app. Also when the switch is set to off there is a electrical hum. This is a Chinese made product and that hum doesn't give me confidence that it won't blow up. had a little trouble setting it up, but I figured it out. Every month or so I get a message from amazon to help someone figure out how to install this switch. I went to trade school for electrical wiring, so I managed. A lot of people have trouble understanding where to put the ground, neutral, and hot. So, I you feel that this would much for seek help before buying.

Can not get it online. I already connect it to my wifi, but it does not get online. I installed the 2 switch version with no problems. It works fine to turn on and off lights, but since I can't get it online it's just blinking all night and my window to return it on Amazon just closed. Guess I should have just return it instead of trying to fix it.

This item is a three gang switch but it is only slightly larger than a one gang switch plate. This is not easily or neatly retro-fitted into American homes.The installation is difficult.We returned ours and went with a TP-LINK switch that we LOVE!

Got the Hosyo 3 switch today it looks great. But it is too small for my 3 switch box opening, my switch box opening is 3X6 inches and the Hosyo 3 is 2 7/8X4 3/4. Needless to say it"s to small. But I have figured a work around. I will get a blank switch box cover and cut a hole in to mount the Hosyo 3 on it. I think they should provide you with some kind of adapter plate since most 3 switch box openings are not that small.

This was complete garbage. I have experience as an electrician, hooked it up and the device would not power up. The documentation and app are awful as well - please have an English speaker rewrite both to get rid of all the errors!
