HOMUS 7 Inch High Heavy Duty Steel Platform Bed Frame/Base, Fit for Mattress and Box Spring (Full1)

FIRST OF ALL, THE ADVERTISEMENT IS A LIE! THIS IS NOT MINUTES TO ASSEMBLE, UNLESS YOU FIGURE 137 MINUTES INSTEAD OF 2 AND 1/2 HOURS! This Bed is heavy duty and very sturdy. We have a 235# teenage special needs boy on this and he destroyed two steel frames before we found this model. His bouncing and rocking on those frames literally destroyed their bracing and joints. This is working, and has been for months. Second this bed frame is just plain heavy. Careful picking up the box. I opened ours and carried the contents in pieces to avoid the overall weight. Third it is not easy to put together and I have an engineering degree. The problem is getting everything lined out. HINT, you can use a cordless drill to drill out holes that are just off to let the bolt go through. I had exactly 3 of those that no amount of wiggling and jiggling would let their bolt go through. Mom and me worked up quite a sweat getting down on our knees and putting this rascal together. The cordless drill solved this in seconds per hole.

This turned out to be a great buy for me. It is the first platform bed I have ever owned and it is awesome. It has no problem with supporting my 350lbs with no sag so far and no creaking or moaning as I move around on it. Keep an eye on what you are doing while assembling it because it can be a pain to line up the bolts to screw it together and it's doubly so if you find your headboard attachments on opposite ends. LOL Still it has been a great product that I can really endorse.

Very poorly made. Bolts do not fit properly because the sizes of the slats do not match up 100%. Do NOT buy, absolute rip off & waste of time.UPDATE - 10/13/2018Customer service emailed me about my complaint/ review, and they immediately sent me a replacement hassle free. The replacement was easily assembled, and this time the frame lived up to its description. Their card does say contact them first, guess I should have read before filing a harsh review.

So far after two nights on this frame it seems to be sturdy and comfortable. Assembling this frame would of been a breeze if all the holes lined up properly. After flexing a few of the holes with a screwdriver a bit we finally got it together. I would suggest two people assemble this.

Worked perfectly for my daughters double bed. Assembly was a bit challenging but no problem. I used the You Tube Videos to provide more direction. We installed a headboard on top and attached no problem. Very happy with the frame. Good price and good value. Beat the heck out of $500 for a bedframe from the mattress store.
