Desoto Beef Jerky (Cracked Pepper, 7oz)

Very good! I had read the other reviews and one talked about getting it and it was moldy! Mine had that look too, but it was only the salt on it. (I looked at it with a microscope, crazy I know) You would see this on any true jerky. Most of the store bought is sprayed with a solution so this won't happen. But doing this, it gives it a slimy feel in my mouth that I do not like. This has no over spray on it. I love it. It was awesome. It is true jerky. I will be ordering more, much more.

This is my favorite beef jerky. Great flavor, great texture. The cracked pepper is the perfect level of spice for me. My 4-year old also loves it!It is made locally in Hernando, Mississippi. I've met the owner and his wife at local flea markets where they set up a booth to sell this jerky, other flavors, and a yummy marinade. You are definitely supporting a small business when you buy this jerky!

Heavy on the soy sauce and worcestershire sauce. kinda drowns out the rest of the flavors

My Fiancé loves this beef jerky and I wanted some before he was stationed overseas. Unfortunately I waited too long and by the time I placed my order it was going to be a day late. I emailed The Jerky Man to see if there was a way to get it a day earlier and he was amazing. He answered my emails right away (on a Friday afternoon/evening) and we received the Jerky just in time! Great product and amazing service!!

Ordered multiple times and will continue ordering! Real jerky, not like that rubber you get other brands. The flavor is unique and really good. It is not a sweet seasoning... More of a spice seasoning.

Unfortunately this beef jerky was far too salty for my taste. The texture of the meat was very fibrous as well. After reading the prevoius reviews I was quite disappointed.

Super for any diabetic or those looking for low or no sugar jerky. It’s better than any other jerky you’ll order anyway. Tender to eat, and great family business. I got to meet the owners, and the spicy jerky and regular are even better
