Bought this for our dog to do heat therapy after surgery. She loves it, can’t get her off it. The blanket itself is very soft but it’s very thin so you can feel all the wires under it which I can’t with our other more expensive one. The time and heat functions is much better on this version and can stay on for up to 10 hours which is helpful. For the price it is what you get, I wouldn’t buy it as a gift though as it would feel cheap.

How could I live without this product all my life? It allows me to lounge or sit at desk in winter without having the central heating on or going to bed to warm up to the electric blanket or heating up countless hot water bottles. It's soft and it gets really warm/hot contrary to what some reviewers have been saying. Just one regret: the controls aren't that flexible and it seems (it's early days) that you can't switch off the appliance before the pre-set count down time is over (which you can chose from 1hr to 10hrs). So if you want to turn off the blanket before it completes say the preset one hour, the only way seems to take the plug off at the mains... surely not?

It doesn't get hot ,only Luke warm that's on highest settings keeps turning off ( no good for this cold weather)Back to using duvet as it's warmer waste of my money . Why I have to choose a rating on something I don't rate ,I should have a choice

After reading a review, I was concerned about plug but it was a UK plug.The blanket work so well and good timing for this colder weather that has appeared, I love it, a good buy and nice and soft

I tried several different types of electric throws and had to send them all back for not working before I found this one. I love this blanket and can't imagine spending another winter without one! It's lovely and soft and plush and warms up really fast on the top setting. Easy to use straight out of the box with a clear, straightforward controller that has easy to use buttons if your hands aren't good with fiddly stuff. I've had it for a few months now and it's still keeping me toasty warm meaning the central heating can be kept lower. I work from home in a room that doesn't have a radiator, so during the day this is an absolute godsend. I only need it on for a while and it gets me nice and warmed through. If anything I sometimes get a bit too hot! My one down point is that I'm not sure how effective it is on the lower settings, it seems to work but less consistently. If you want to get some good heat out of it though, you can, just set it up high and it will keep you nice and snuggly.

This is a nice product and heats up well. Unfortunately my experience was marred by my first one failing after only 3 months. I was attracted to this particular product because of its 5 year guarantee. However, when I tried to contact the seller directly, as instructed in the listing, there was no way of doing this. Fortunately, Amazon themselves stepped in immediately and arranged an instant refund. Because of this and the 5 year warranty, I did order a replacement and so far so good, knowing that of this one does fail, I can get Amazon to sort it out for me. Overall, I would say the product is nice to use, but it’s longevity is perhaps questionable.
