My dogs absolutely love picking peanut butter off these mats on the floor. Keeps them occupied for quite awhile. I also attach them on their RV kennels too. The dogs go in easily to have their big treat & then settle safely into our driving when finished. Win win!

I bought this as a slow feeder for my 15# chihuahua mix. He eats as though every bite will be his last available and ends up coughing and snorting afterward. I was concerned at first because it seemed to be designed more for wet food and treats. I dumped his small bite kibble on it and it did slow him down enough to eat with no snorting or coughing afterward. He seemed to enjoy it and licked every square inch once the food was gone. The post said “ handwashing only” in the top section and “dishwasher and freezer safe” midway down. I ran it through the dishwasher top rack with no problem. The suction cup backing looks as though it would be an effective grooming distraction when spread with peanut butter or similar and attached to a wall or counter. I don’t know whether it would work as a slow feeder for larger dogs with big kibble but it is perfect for my purposes. Bonus points: It fit exactly onto my dog’s elevated feeding table.

First time I have gotten a lick pad for my dog. Unfortunately, she didn’t have anything to do with it. Might just be my dog. I won’t try again.

This a great pet licky mat set. Works beautifully, cleans up well, and comes with a serving spatula and a mat scrubber all at a great price. These mats are 2 to 3 times as large as most small pet mats. I use it for my cats and I like that it has 3 different textures across the mats and that it's larger because I can choose to spread the food out to make eating time take a bit longer for my self-gorging-fast-eating-food-insecure rescue cat or pick a different section of the mat each day to keep things from getting boring for my not-so-gorgey tiny stray.

My dogs eat off of lick mats because it keeps them from inhaling their food to fast (particularly my male, give him a chance and that stuff is gone in 20 seconds and he's wondering where his food went).Made for big dogs I'm sure, but my small dogs can eat off of it just as well. I make it a game for them by spreading their (small cans of) food over the entire thing. I don't know if they think they are getting more (they're not of course), could be!

I smeared peanut butter on these for each of my three dogs to lick. They are very big dogs (86-110 lbs) and I didn’t read the description closely enough to notice how small each mat is. But they worked just fine. Kept my dogs busy for a whole 8 minutes! ;)The little silicone spatula that comes in the pkg is very useful. I haven’t yet tried to use the brush. But my dogs licked these so clean that I won’t need the brush to clean out any gunk. I’ll just throw them in the top rack of the dishwasher!

These are quite flexible, but once they're laid flat on a hard floor, they don't slide much at all. Once your fur-child is done licking the goodies off of them, they're easy to clean. I just popped mine on the top shelf of the dishwasher.
