60 Ounces Borosilicate Glass Pitcher with Lid, Water Carafe Jug for Hot/Cold Water, Ice Tea and Juice Beverage

So I ordered two of these about 2 years ago. We use them primarily for ice tea, so multiple times a week we pour in boiling water and then top off with cold and have never had an issue with breakage. We've never dropped any and I can't recall us smacking them against the counter more than I would any other piece of glassware. For two years we've used these with zero complaints. They are a bit hard to clean, but we have an angleable pitcher sponge so this wasn't an issue for us. Don't expect to get your hand/arm in there unless you have small children willing to help with dishes. Also, these are too tall to fit in standard dishwashers.Our main reason for ordering more is a complaint we have had with every. other. pitcher. we have ever owned. The post-pour drip! I finally got fed up with the plastic pitcher we picked up years ago. Needing to take off the lid, pour it over the sink, and it would STILL drip. It is now gone and replaced with these. Our family now owns 4.When I originally ordered these two years ago I was a bit hesitant because of many reviews questioning their durability. I will admit, they were light with thin glass. Despite that, we've never had any issues. Fast forward to today... I took the new puppies out of the box and immediately knew something was different. Shape is the same, cap is the same, dimensions are the same... it's the weight. Perhaps they took feedback from the reviews here, but the new pitchers definitely weigh more. How do I know? Because I weighed the darn things to make sure I wasn't crazy. The old pitchers weigh 500g and the new ones weigh 580g. Luckily I had two of each old and new to confirm. Spot on with both measurements. Personally, I am a fan of the lighter version, but I can understand wanting to beef them up a bit to deal with owners who have cracked them.I don't recommend many products, but leaking, dripping pitchers is an issue everyone has had. With these, you will not have this issue.

I ordered this to use as a water or ice tea pitcher. All of our serving dishes are clear glass and stainless steel with a simple and elegant contemporary design, and I wanted a water pitcher that would be the same style. The pitcher is beautiful, and once I figured out how to take the lid apart and put it back together, it will be very easy to use. Be aware that the circle in the center does not fit tightly into the bottle, which makes it easy to pour, but the seal is not tight.The borosilicate glass is beautiful and does not contain any lead or other impurities that would make it unsafe to use. The glass is thick enough that I would not worry about breaking the pitcher, but it is light weight enough to not make the pitcher too heavy to use conveniently.The only drawback for some people might be that this pitcher is 13 inches tall, so it may not fit onto any shelf or into the door of many refrigerators. I have shelves that use a crank to raise and lower into any position, so this was not an issue for me, but I will have to take the pitcher out of the fridge any timeI have to raise the shelf it sits on to allow something taller to go onto the shelf below.Since the pitcher is so tall, it can be cleaned using soapy water and a bottle brush, but it is can be hard to dry all the way to the bottom.

We love these pitchers. We wanted something that would serve multiple purposes. We wanted them to be able to be used on the table when having guests and also to be used in the refrigerator for everyday use so they needed to be thin and still hold a decent amount. These are perfect. We got so many compliments with them on the table for a party of 11 the other night. They are thin and elegant and they clean beautifully. I do use a soft cloth to clean them and a flour sack towel to dry. I use one during the week for Lemonade or similar type drink and look forward to the summer months when I will put water with lemon or lime in the other.

This carafe is VERY tall. Check the item description and measure your refrigerator height - 13+ inches are required (picture it several inches taller than a 1/2 gallon carton of milk). The seller is clear that you should double-check first. My bad - I cannot return it. It may not fit your dishwasher either, in which case you will need a very long-handled brush to clean it.The glass seems quite thin, but maybe it will be OK. Borosilicate isn't as tough as Pyrex. All the borosilicate glass products I have purchased before had silicone netting around them, so I will try to be careful with this one.I like the top stopper - it is easy to use. It's also a very attractive pitcher/carafe. Just too bad it is SOOOO tall.

Beautiful simple design and mechanism. Lost one star because the lid pops off a little too easily. Never has come off when pouring though. I will buy again.

My wife loves loves her iced coffee and we purchased this expressly for storing and pouring her favorite iced-coffee.We replaced her similar-sized plastic pitcher immediately as soon as it showed a non-removable 'yellowish tint' from the coffee. Plastic can't compare to glass and the comfortable, ergonomic shape of this pitcher aids in pouring any liquid!We're VERY satisfied with this product!

I bought this for myself but it was way too tall for my fridge. I gave it to my parents and they love it. The counter weight in the lid is brilliant.

Tall Carafe! Easy to hold, but so y’all it does not rinse well in dishwasher and it’s interior is difficult to wipe clear! I used a bitter scrub brush wrapped with a clean cloth, which worked ok, but was a pain to clean easily! Cap is unusual, and provides a Auto-mated pourability without cap removal. Cap tilts shut after pouring.
