H2O4K9 Stainless Steel Dog Water Bottle and Travel Bowl, Small, 270 ml, Lime Green

Perfect for my Cairn terrier. He has no problem drinking out of the cap. I like that I can pour what he doesn't drink back into the bottle.

Update: originally gave a 5 star review because this is our second bottle and the 4th one I have purchased. My first one lasted 5 years before the paint started chipping so I bought a new stainless steel one. I’ve had the new for 3 months. Our first day of a 3 day camping trip the lid came apart. Half is stuck in the bottle and my dog is without a water bottle for the next few days. So upset that I waited until I had signal on our hike to immediately post this new review.

Seemed great on our first walk. On our second walk with it, the plastic bowl broke off from the top of the bottle, leaving the rest of the plastic stopper stuck in the neck of the bottle. We didn't over tighten it or anything - it just snapped with minimal pressure as we tried to open it. It appears that it was poorly glued together. We couldn't even get the bottle open to access the rest of the water to give our thirsty dog.

I have two of these water bottles for my dogs. One has a black lid while my most recent one has the orange. There’s clearly a difference in the quality of the two. My bottle with orange lid has broken off at the plastic screw in are of the bottle twice. The company replaced my first orange lid bottle. I can’t recommend the orange lid as it appears to not hold up well with even infrequent use. Black lid seems stronger.The bottle concept itself is fantastic for travel.

This works just like how it looks unfortunately my dogs don't seem to trust it enough to drink from it. I'm not sure why they're not fans I certainly am. Now I'm using it like a normal canteen for myself occasionally. Maybe in the future I'll get a smarter dog who doesn't think water from a bottle on a trail means it's most certainly tainted somehow. Seriously one of my dogs would rather drink from stagnant puddles of murk. The other would rather hyperventilate. Oh well, still a great design.

I bought two of these bottles May 31, 2018. I have used the pink one twice. On the second use the cap separated from the lid and this bottle is now useless.I looked to return it and there doesn't seem to be any way to get it returned or exchanged. Ridiculous. I hope someone can reach out to me to get this replaced.

The only way my dog will drink water on walks. I've tried bringing foldable bowls and she won't drink much because she's distracted by everything else outside.I didn't have high hopes for this. I guess because I can hold this right up in her face it grabs her attention more and makes her want to drink it. But it works well! And I love that it's easy to pour the water back in with no waste.I gave 4 stars because the metal makes the water warm up much faster than a plastic bottle or insulated bottle would. It also sweats a lot if you put cold water in. But the cap seems pretty leak proof.Would love to see an insulated version of this product.

This is a very nice water bottle for taking your dog on short walks. I got this one along with the suggested shoulder harness to take her on our daily 5 mile walks. I would not recommend it for keeping the water cold however. The insulated water bottles by the same company work great for that! I have two of them as well. If you need to keep the water cold look at them. This one will only stay cool for an hour or so and then matches ambient temperature. It is, however, lighter so easier to handle on a hike. The top/lid is perfectly shaped for your dog to drink and my Samoyed rarely spills a drop. It is also easy to poor what is left back into the bottle if you need to conserve water. I highly recommend this company and their dog water bottles. They are the best design I have come across and are very well made.

The steel is of high quality and feels nice in your hand. The plastic that the lid’s made of also feels nice. This is important when you’re carrying it for a couple of hours.The only negative aspect is that the lid protrudes diwn into the bottle, meaning when you invert it to use as a cup it has a big lump sticking up in the bottom that reduces the capacity of the cup. It’s ok if your dog’s happy with small, frequent servings, though - and that’s probably a good approach anyway.An unexpected plus was that it fits in the back pocket of my jeans!

Great. Exactly as described. Found a spare hook from another water bottle and attached to top , then able to hook onto trouser belt loop or pocket. Also fits in a dog treat / utility bag. Used in park today and my thirsty little JRT was more than happy drinking out of the screw top lid which held a good amount of water. Excess can be poured back into bottle and I am guessing the stainless steel will help to keep water cooler on a hot day. The lid has to be held rather than placed on the floor as it is curved in shape so therefore does not balance on the ground.This bottle was more costly than some plastic ones but as the last one I got broke when dropped and another leaked I would say this one is well worth the extra money and will last.

We take this with us on most walks, and dog drinks readily from it. It keeps the water cold and fresh - fill it straight from the tap; no need to refrigerate. It's also lightweight and, together with the neoprene holder, is easy to carry. Was "told off" by spouse for buying yet another dog accessory that we didn't need etc; however, he's the first one to prepare it when we go for a walk!

Great design and our dog loves it. The lid doubles as the water bowl and any water left can just be poured back into the bottle. It keeps cold water cool which is a bonus. The size is a bit large for a belt clip, more suited to a small backpack. But overall excellent

Great product. No more plastic water bottles needed. This is just right for a short walk for our dog. It’s small enough to carry in my handbag too.It would get 5 stars if the bottle design was a little slimmer.

Used it at the most 4 times since I bought it, it leaks. The top seal isn’t great at all. Would like to return it if I’m honest.

Just what I needed for my dog for walks and going out travelling. Very practical and you don’t waste any water. Thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely the best bottle we’ve bought for our boy. Water stays cold; the lid is an excellent bowl. So pleased with this! Goes on every trip we take.

Looks nothing like the picture, not as nice, body is green, cap is black; so it’s horrible compared to the steel and green in the picture. I wish I hadn’t purchased.

Good quality, keeps water cool and small enough to carry easily easily on walks. Nice design and you can pour the water back in if your pet doesn’t drink it all

our two frenchies took to it quickly, keeps the water cool as well —should you leave it in the car. Dropped it a few times trying to wrangle them, super durable. Highly recommend
