Heavy duty
This thing was a lot heavier than I expected. Made installation a bit more challenging but worth the effort. Extremely sturdy construction and smooth drawer slide. As for the lock, it's just like a file cabinet lock, not for securing high valuable items. Great option if you want to add storage to your 19 inch rack. Be aware that it is heavier than you might think.

Well made but too shallow
Seems solid enough, and will meet the need to store some basic spare parts in the rack at colo. I deducted one star because the depth is too shallow to store more than 1 row of hard disks. With racks a few feet deep, there is no reason to make it so shallow, except to cut manufacturing costs. Amazon accurately disclosed the dimensions, so it's no fault of theirs. If it was 12-15 inches deep, it would be a 5-star winner for me.

This is NOT a drawer
This product is not a drawer. It is simply a locking container. I purchased this product because it said it was a 'drawer'. However, it is not.
