Love this board, use it every day.
I go to college at Furman University in Greenville, SC. I figured I'd add that because it's a relatively specific use case. I use it to go to class every day and to ride around, before this I had a knock-off board that was a little longer, and this is exactly what I was hoping it'd be. Very sturdy and stable, I've taken it on many a hill and dale and it's stayed under my feet the whole time. I did just recently add grip tape to it, but it was still plenty grippy for casual use beforehand. Bearings and wheels are nice, I can cruise pretty far. Nice and portable too, I just pick it up and carry it into class with me, it even fits in the straps under my backpack if I don't plan to use it for a while. Doesn't really fit inside my backpack, it could if I needed it to but not zipped and not much else could go in there. Then again I've never felt like that was something I was missing. Color is nice, looks pretty cool, all my longboard friends are terrified of it but I think it's the best board I own. Admittedly I am not a board snob and I'm sure there are marginally superior bearings and wheels, but even my board snob friends never comment about me needing to upgrade any of that.TL;DR Daily commuting use and never dissapoints. Worth the buy.

Good for a cruise
I'm a college student, so having a smaller skateboard is almost essential for me. The college I go to is small so I don't tend to ride it around campus much as it's just a five minute walk across campus, but nonetheless I decided to get a penny board to make the trips down to the gas station a little quicker and save gas. I really enjoyed this skateboard. It provides a nice smooth ride and doesn't get caught up in cracks unless going at the same speed of a slow walk. When using on the road, unless the road is traveled a lot, you will feel the vibrations from the non-smooth pavement. This is such with any skateboard but this one lessens the numbness you feel extremely well. I have other skateboards such as the ripstik, soleskate, and waverider. These are more abnormal skateboards so my penny board tends to be my daily driver. However, none of these other boards provide as smooth of a ride as my penny board. Whenever I have time, I'll take the board out for an hour long ride around town and it provides a nice way to enjoy the town. The wheels haven't worn down at all and the trucks are at the tightness that seems to be just right for me. Others may want to tighten or loosen them a little but I like where mine are at. There is a little wear and tear by the tail from where I've kicked the tail back to stop. I do wish it came with some optional grip tape as the plastic doesn't seem to provide enough grip when wet. The deck has a lot of bend to it so I don't feel it will break unless a lot of weight is applied.~Pros~Smooth rideGreat for a college campusPerfectly tuned trucksLots of strong bend in the deck~Cons~No grip tapeNot meant for tricks

Perfect to travel with
Pros: Portable. Light weight. Small. Easier to maneuver in tight or crowded spaces relative to a longer board. Good build quality. Waffle grip means there's no sandpaper to tear/scratch at your backpack, clothes, or shoes.Cons: Small size means less stability. Plastic board material is softer than wooden board, therefore easier to scratch/deeper grooves. Waffle style grip has less grip than sandpaper.Overall, don't think you can do much better than a longboard style like this when it comes to wanting both light weight and small foot print size. Therefore, perfect for traveling with, whether carrying in your arm, backpack, or suitcase. I also recommend installing shark wheels if you're using your board as a travel tool since it handles rougher terrain a lot better than the stock wheels they give you!

Sturdy. Reliable and extremely good quality
Reliable and very good quality. If you've never skated before it's small so it takes more balance to learn it, but it's not too difficult. Material is a hard rubber so it bends a but to absorb shock but it's extremely reliable and durable. Great buy. I haven't tried knock-offs but I wouldn't since I've beaten this one a bit and it's going very strong. I Would definitely buy it again. Probably will soon in other colors.

Grip
There is an extreme lack of grip because there is no grip tape. Great bearings and wheels, but this is probably too small for you if you’re a fully grown man. It scuffed pretty bad from a light fall so if you care about finish and longevity of the deck (especially because the decks are proprietary) I would suggest either a more traditional board or finding some mod to increase grip and wear resistance.

Buy the original penny it’s worth it
I am a 34 year old woman who just got kinda fat because I ate lots of tiny cakes. So ANYWAYS I got this cute skateboard to work on my fitness and ride on smooth parking lots around my crib. It’s very good even for fat older women. It carves and fits in a backpack kind of. Wow have fun.

Amazing purchase.
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been riding my penny board non stop since I got it, it gets easier to balance after practicing a couple days.

Great Cruiser Skateboard
I have been using it for 6 months. Once cruised in the rain. The deck combines strength and toughness. Stainless steel bearings allow it to withstand sudden rain.A friend used it to practice tips, causing a scratch on the abdomen of the deck. Fortunately, the scratch is not located on the two bones of the abdomen. So, I'll not allow someone who try to practice tips but without his own skateboard. To some extent, Penny 22" should be a private skateboard.
