This review is more of a recommendation to the seller to include instructions either on the box or on a piece of paper in the box. I received the cartridges in a small box. There were no instructions in the box or on it. When I looked at the cartridges there is/was a small yellow tag that must be removed prior to install. I did that. However, there is also a film that looks like clear tape over the ink eye at the end of the cartridge. It is unclear since there are no directions about it whether it should stay on or be removed. I left it on. When inserting I could hear the film being punctured. HP cartridges I have used do not have this type of film although it may be internal where it is not visible. I think some instructions about whether that film is normal and should be left in place would be helpful and appropriate.I did get the usual message that I was not using an authorized cartridge and over-road that message. The first page that printed appears fine. Just keep in mind that if you have a newer printer (mine is probably 3+ years old) it may be under warranty and you void your warranty with non-HP ink cartridges. But, if you are outside your warranty, this is probably fine. I will be curious to see how the color cartridges work. I did get a message that my cyan cartridge had an issue so I needed to replace that one as well with the cyan in this package. Oddly, I did not have this message before inserting the new black cartridge from this purchase. Could be a coincidence. But, it was curious just the same. For this reason, I am giving a 3 star. The cartridges went in a little stiffly. HP cartridges were a bit easier. So, I hope these do fine and print well. We shall see...

The media could not be loaded.  Massive black blobs on all prints, absolutely no color coming out.

I bought other cheap cartridges which worked for a while, but just recently got print head errors, first the black, then the yellow. The black one cleared up but the yellow one caused my printer to not work. Decided to try this brand since it got good reviews before I replaced the printer. I have no intention on spending a hundred bucks on ink and unlike the Epson I had before, the HP 8600 cannot have empty ink cartridges.Popped in the yellow one and the printer worked after it went through the message about the supplies not being genuine. I have not made a color copy and only have the yellow one in for now. Once I actually have all of the cartridges installed and print a color document, I will provide further feedback. I will say the QUALITY of these cartridges seems a LOT better than the other brand I bought. So far, so good!

First cartridge replaced (blue) worked OK. Second cartridge (yellow) did not. Printer gave message 'cartridge appears damaged - replace'. After I posted my initial negative review, company sent me a complete set of replacement cartridges and refunded my money. So I would give them 5 stars for customer service. However, initially the new replacement yellow cartridge worked for a few printed pages, then I got another 'cartridge defective' message. I took the replacement cartridge out and put it in back in again. I've printed another couple of pages and it seems OK for now. I'll keep monitoring it and I hope I don't have further problems.

Just Ok!. Not the best print quality, but not the worst either.

To my surprise, this product is working great! I was skeptical because of the low price, but I’ll definitely purchase again in the future.
