Until I needed one, I didn’t realise that finding an affordable and intelligently designed U-shaped shower rod/rail was close to being mission impossible.Nearly all U-shaped shower rods have one of the following two problems:1. They are only held up by the two attachments to the wall, so they will sag.2. The manufacturer figured out the point 1 is a problem, so they took a standard U-shaped shower rod, which is just a tube, and attached a vertical rod in the middle to attach to the ceiling to prevent it from sagging, thereby making it impossible to pull the shower curtain across the middle. So you need two halves of a shower curtain, and water is likely to come out in the middle.The only intelligent solution I had found until now cost more than 200 euros, so last time I looked, I gave up.And then finally I found this intelligent design at a reasonable price.It is not perfect, but good enough for me and my un-renovated bathroom.It can be shortened in all directions, vertical or horizontal, but the price to pay for this flexibility is that you need to be careful when pulling the shower curtain past the two assembly points, as the slider hooks tend to get stuck a bit. It is not a huge problem, though, and my children got it already.As others have pointed out, the colour of the middle rail is slightly different from the colour of the curved rails (see the photo).The manual is only in Swedish, but there are illustrations, and it should not be a problem for anyone used to DIY work at home if they cannot understand the text – it may even be an advantage, as I broke one of the plastic anchoring brackets that attach the vertical rods to the horizontal rails by trying to clip it on, as the manual says. But this plastic part easily breaks if you follow the manual. Slide it into the rail instead. The seller “Extreme Bad” (whose customer service is not extremely bad, but extremely good) immediately sent me a replacement part at no cost, even though I had only asked if it was possible to buy one. I thought I would have to buy a complete replacement kit.I have high ceilings, so I had to extend the vertical rods, as it can be seen on the photo. This extension, encircled, is not part of the product, and neither is the shower curtain seen on the photo.

Die verschiedenen Teile der Duschstange haben tatsächlich unterschiedliche Weißtöne. Das gesamte Gestell wirkt dadurch billig und gebraucht. Zwischen den einzelnen Teilen sind die Übergänge deutlich erkennbar. Auch die Haken zum Befestigen des Duschvorhangs sind von geringer Qualität und vervollständigen den Eindruck eines Billigprodukts. Die einfachen Aluschienen und Befestigungselemente sind keinesfalls über 30 € Wert. Zumindest erfüllt die Duschstange ihren Zweck.Eine Anleitung in Deutsch ist nicht vorhanden, wird aber auch nicht gebraucht.
