Magnetic PEI Bed Plate for Bambu Lab P1P P1S X1 Carbon 3D Printer Spring Steel Flex Sheet Upgrade Double Sided Smooth/Textured Hotbed Sticker Removable Build Surface Platform Mat 257x257mm

This is by far the worst PEI bed I ever used. Just taking it out of the packaging I saw it had small scratches, like it was washed with an abrasive pad. Then I also noticed the PEI sheet that came already on, had bubbles here and there, and in two places it had particles underneath.I cleaned it, put it on my P1S, and printed a pre-loaded bambu print, using Bambi basic pla. It printed with the bed heated to 55 degrees, and it left a permanent imprint on the sheet with bubbles. I let it cool down naturally before I removed anything.I do not believe this sheet will last with even a week's worth of printing.Terrible quality, don't waste your money on this sheet.-EDIT (please read)So I discovered the plate had a second soft protective film on top of the PEI. When I got the plate it was inside a plastic and I peeled off the protective film. When I tried the plate now again the nozzle dug into and ripped what I thought was the PEI film. I thought to myself this is very thin for PEI, and when I peeled it off, it showed the smooth distinct PEI film underneath, on top of the spring steel plate. I can only think that during manufacturing they accidentally put two protective films on this sheet. Now it behaves as a real nice actual smooth PEI bed plate. Very niceI am very happy with this plate now.

Im not sure if this was a defect from the factory or if it was used before I got it. The plate works beautifully and my prints pop off so easily. I love it. I use the smooth side because I need the finish for this specific print. Again not sure how the defect happened but it is towards the back and I was in a time crunch for my project and could not wait on a return. Works great though.

I have seen some of the negative reviews, but this has become my go to build plate for the Bambu X1C. The textured side leaves a nice texture on the bottom of your prints and the smooth leaves a nice smooth finish.I feel silly but for the first month I did not realize the smooth side had a thin plastic film to protect it. With that film still on the smooth side worked ok but the film started coming off. The textured side was working great, so I just kept the plate for my textured PEI plate.With more time the film continued to come off more and more. Then it hit me perhaps it was some kind of protective film, and I posted a question on Amazon and found out the film was indeed supposed to come off. Now both sides of the plate are working great. Prints sticks well to both sides, perhaps a wee bit too well, but I have not had a print come loose while I was printing, from either side and the plate is holding up great, I just scrub it lightly from time to time with a little dish soap to keep it clean and it has been going strong for couple of months now and dozens of prints.

The build plate works great for PLA. I've had no adhesion issues. With PETG it holds on very well. So well in fact that the PETG actually bonded to the PEI on the plate and tore up some of the PEI. Definitely recommend lower temps on PETG, that helped with the ease of removal. Of course using something like a glue stick can help this.

I ordered this plate because it had both a textured and a smooth surface. I figured I would use it with PETG and if it got ruined, at least it wasn't one of my Bambu Lab plates. To my surprise, all my PLA prints stuck to this plate better than to my Bambu Labs plates. Even the smooth surface. It has been incredible and quickly became my favorite build plates in my collection. I highly recommend and look forward to trying out some of their other build plates.

Worked a little but plate has some warping that make the prints fail often.

I bought this for my Bambu printer to print petg on the smooth surface. The adhesion has been very good. I have had issues with petg in the past and have been really happy so far.

I bought this in the hopes of getting a smooth bottom side on a flexible PLA print versus using a textured plate. Unfortunately my first print on this new plate adhered so bad I ended up scratching the plate coating all up getting the filament off. Even the PLA scraper I printed scratched the plate trying to remove the print. The metal Bambu blade was a bad idea. Partly the filament's fault and probably due to my unfamiliarity with using a smooth plate, but definitely should not have stuck so bad as to destroy to coating on the first print.Fortunately I still have the textured side to use, but disappointed in the quality and durability of this product.
