I really liked the adorable suitcase when I first saw this full make-up set. That is what first caught my eye. I however, did not realize the amount of amazing make-up products that were enclosed inside of the suitcase!! I saw the pictures but once it arrived, I was so much happier with it. This really IS a full spectrum kit. It is perfect for daily wear. It is also perfect for fun affairs, fancy occasions, and for young ladies as well as matured ones. This is a kit you could give to ANY teenager, and you will be their favorite family or friend member of yours. That's how great I think it is. Is it brand name make-up? No, probably not, but it would make any person happy to own it and it would allow them to play around with it and find what best fits their own style. The suitcase will feel stylish and the latches are strong enough to not have to worry about dumping it out on the floor accidently. All products have a place inside made just for them to keep it well organized.

Let’s be honest, the kit has a lot of makeup for less than $40 dollars so is a good deal since one brand foundation cost about same price. The makeup aren’t the best but the kit is great for a last minute emergency. I keep it on my office because there has been times where I needed to take pictures and I have no make up on me. This kit has been a lifesaver for occasions like that. It does comes with everything as advertised.

The makeup is not super high quality but for the price it isn’t bad. It comes with a little bit of everything. The eye shadow pans aren’t super big. The color is not super pigmented but still look nice. If you use a primer or white base the colors will look slightly brighter.

This is definitely good for a teen to play around with color and technique. It reminds me of the old freebies and big purchase with purchase kits at the department store makeup counter that had full-size 20 eyeshadows, 5 lipsticks, several eyeliners, etc for $20 with the purchase of $50 or whatever of name brand high-end cosmetics. It’s a little bit of everything to suit just about everyone’s complexion and tastes.However, this is not high-end name brand makeup. The palettes are flimsy and some of it is pretty bad. However, some of it is really good too… It seems the items branded other than Kavcent are actual sourced products in the market versus the cheap palettes made for this kit. They are not bad! Everything was tested on my arm.For the Kavcent items, they are cheap and sheer, without a lot of pigment once transferred to the skin. I tested a few colors of each and they weren’t impressive at all. Definitely cheap makeup. I didn’t try the lipstick tube or lip balm though, in case I decide to give this as a gift (to a teen).The other products are quite nice with rich color and pigment. The glosses (actually matte lipstick) are very nice, the concealer tubes have decent coverage but a little thin for American standards, since we don’t have “glass skin” or “mochi skin” in Korean or Japanese terms. The contour concealer stick is much better coverage, with similar colors as the tubes. The eyeliner is really nice, and I didn’t try the mascara for the same reason as the lipstick. The foundation coverage I can’t comment on, since the pump on the bottle didn’t work. I also didn’t unwrap the eyebrow pencil, since it’s dark brown and my brows are blonde… The eyeliner and mascara tubes are glittery and adorable.The brushes are pretty darn good, there’s no shedding when I ran my fingers over them and gave a little tug.It’s a decent kit, I gave it 4 stars, but it’s really 3.5 rounded up to four because it does have some gems that I may keep out of this set… It’s perfect for a teen, with more than they’ll ever need for colors, and they’ll love it.

Talc is the first ingredient in the lip colors, which turned me off because of the risk of asbestos. Then, I opened the lip palette and found metal shavings in two of the colors. I went for the eyeshadow palette next, and there were plastic shavings in several of the colors. Thr black palettes all have the strong smell of cheap plastic, much like inflatable pool products.Because of all of this, I just wouldn't be comfortable using these products or gifting them to anyone.The packaging for some products is pretty, and it is well compacted into a smallish makeup bag. The pros simply don't outweigh the cons.
