Meet The Vamps - Live In Concert [DVD]

I consider The Vamps breezy pop tunes as featured on their debut album " Meet The Vamps " pretty good fare and thought a concert video would be a nice way to see if the lads can cut it on stage. They can, for the most part as long as you're willing to forgive the now mandatory backing tracks, courtesy of computer music production programs that most entertainers use these days. It gives them a fuller sound onstage and allows vocalists to sing with themselves but somewhat restricts the performance from any change to the prerecorded arrangements. If the balance between the backing and live elements is not correctly mixed when recorded, some artists actually look like they're miming (Taylor Swift is a prime example of this). This DVD has pretty good sound/picture quality and also includes bonus audio of the bands debut studio album in full, just as if you'd bought the cd. Meet The Vamps Live In Concert is a good effort for their first headline tour. It's very obvious they can play their instruments and I look forward to what these talented young men will no doubt achieve as they move further ahead with their career. Nice show!

I've always known The Vamps are great live, since I've seen them a few times, but this DVD is even better than I expected because Dean Sherwood is absolutely amazing at portraying their shows in the best way possible! It almost made me feel like I was there again!
