Works well easily clips onto the front of my a118s uses small clips and a grippy material to hold it into place securely, it is very light so doesn't need much. The polariser doesn't seem to be easily adjustable but was good out of the box.Tested in images below check the top right for the before and after marks. As you can see the dashboard reflection is reduced to nearly invisible and the white pillar is reduced slightly.nearly 5 stars but would like manual adjustment of polarisation, also priced at ÂŁ12.99 at time of purchase seems a bit high so would prefer around the ÂŁ8 mark.

CPL not correctly adjusted at the factory
You would think that a simple item like this would work straight from the box. Especially as it isn’t cheap. But no. The red dot was originally at 4 o’clock (set the bigger slot up, so that the lens can’t drop). I had to adjust the red dot to almost to 6 o’clock to get the CPL working properly.I’m disappointed. Took many hours to find the correct information and finally get the CPL to the correct angle. For anyone that faces the same problem, here are some tips that will save your precious time:1) Watch a Youtube video “Dashcamera CPL lens filter Manual adjustment (How to adjust DIY )”2) Get your polarizing sunglasses and find a screen that goes black at some angle with the glasses (PC screen, pad screen, TV, etc).3) Adjust the Viofo CPL to go black at the same angle. With my PC screen the angle was 45 degrees to the right, not to the left as in the Youtube video. With my LCD television it was 90 degrees (left or right, doesn’t matter). So, the correct direction depends on what direction the screen’s light is polarized. If you do the adjustment with your PC you can google for a suitable picture (for example “unit circle 45 degree”) to help you adjust the angle more precisely.4) Now the lens is in correct angle and it works quite well. A four star item if it only would have been adjusted correctly at the factory.

Works well, lens can be rotated in its housing.
A bit pricey for what is quite a small polarising lens, but at least it works well. Good news is this also fits the Aukey DR-02 dash cam perfectly as well (if you have one). When fitting to the front of your dash cam, it's worth checking the lens is rotated correctly in its plastic housing to reduce the windscreen glare. There is a small red dot visible on the inside of the lens, and it appears to work best when the dot is in the 4 o'clock position (when viewed from the back, i.e. against the dash cam). Easy enough to test the glare reduction yourself, given the lens does rotate in its plastic housing.

Increased stealth, better colours and reduced flare
This polariser reduces the flare in my front dash cam. Colours are much better. It also increases the stealth factor of my Viofo a119. Arrived well packed in a little box. It is actually very small, just clicks on the front. When fitted tilting the lens sideways is not possible. Up-down tilting is not affected. I do not notice negative effect on night recordings. There is usually enough light in the front from headlights, anyway.

polarising filter.
If like me, you have a sloping windscreen and keep lots of junk on top of the dash then this will supress any reflections from reaching your dashcam. It is possible to rotate the polarising filter within the mount to minimise unwanted reflections although mine came already in the optimum position.

Reduces dashboard reflections
Works as advertised- and, for a Brucy Bonus, it will fit on the Aukey DR02 D 👍🏼

Makes a diffrence, should buy
yes it does make a considerable difference, without it my items on my dashboard were very visibly distorting the vision on the road ahead, but with the lens it reduced those objects by 70-85%(less visible). i would recommend it if you have items you place on the dashboard,e.g tissue holder.

Does what it's supposed to
Fantastic. Does exactly what it says, works as expected. As good as the original Viofo lens
