Great lights
This is my second purchase of this headlight, the first one has the yellow headband. I acquired the second one for the person that accompanies my on my dog walks in the winter evenings. They are really light, the battery seems to last ages and are easy to adjust to my head with or without a wooly hat. The charging is fine too as the battery meter is easy to understand (four lights = full battery, one light = low battery) (not like others where you might have to time the flashes to understand the battery levels). Anyway, these seem to be expensive but I've been through a lot of flashlights over the years and in real terms of ease of use of a long period of time these are not expensive headlights.

Good ERC head torch
Good range of lighting, extremely lightweight and good to have usb c charging. Unsure of light duration but to date seems good for purpose.

Light and long lasting light
Incredibly light and bright. Long enough battery life to do a brisk half marathon in the dark!

Excellent
So lightweight, you actually do wonder if the torch has anything inside. But it really does, and the light is more than good enough to light the way. You’ll also be easily spottable using this head torchThe paracord straps are thin, but don’t feel uncomfortable when worn around the head, and can be adjusted as necessaryMaybe slightly expensive for a head torch, but for something important you can put in your bag for “just in case” scenarios, that doesn’t affect overall weight to any real significance, this is perfect

Almost perfect so 4.5 stars would be more appropriate
This superb head-torch is highly recommended. I live miles from any street-lights and we suffer lots of power-cuts; I therefore have loads of torches. This is my favorite head-torch by far. It is light, comfortable and plenty powerful enough for ME.RED LIGHT: An even spread of surprisingly bright light. Too bright if you are trying to preserve your night-vision, such as on a boat at night. Instantly accessed by pressing and holding the 'mode' button.ULTRA LOW: An even spread of light, plenty bright enough to walk on reasonably smooth ground. 'Instantly' accessed by double tapping the 'main' button.FLOOD: A beautifully even spread of light extending almost to my peripheral vision. If you look very carefully you can just about see a slightly brighter centre and vague 'rings' but for all practical purposes this is 'perfect'. Because the light is near your eye-line and the shadows are below the objects you are looking at you don't see them and you almost forget you are working in the dark - a fabulous tool!SPOT: Pretty good but it is almost pointless for ME. If I need a spot, I will be carrying a better torch.COMBINED: Ditto.SWITCHES: Not as tactile as I would like. Poor when wearing gloves.INTERFACE: It seems more complicated that it needs to be BUT that is because Nitecore are providing multiple uses from just two buttons. It is OK but you do need to learn it; that is typical of Nitecore.COMFORT: !!!!ABSOLUTE TOP MARKS!!!! Because it is so light, the two elastic cords hold it in place without needing to be tight. I quickly forget I am wearing it. Much better that the more usual wide elastic strap.GLOW IN THE DARK: Of limited value for most of us because you need to 'energise' the 'string'. If you put it down in the dark, it may be worth shining a light at the 'string' so you can find it again but it doesn't glow for long. Anyone with sense will at least have a key-ring torch with them. I suggest a TIKI.WATERPROOF: Not tested but the socket seems to be well sealed.ROBUSTNESS: Not tested. It 'feels' flimsy but it may not give that impression if it were heavier.EMERGENCY USE: Using any rechargeable torch for emergency purposes is not a good idea until you know exactly how long it lasts in 'stand-by'. I also have a Nitecore TINI, a TINI2, a TIKI and a Thumb. I hold them all in high regard but the self discharge rate of the TINI is bad enough that it is useless as a 'stand-by' torch. This NU25 is too new to me to know how badly it self-discharges but it probably isn't awful. I will be keeping my old Petzl battery head-torch in the car for emergencies for the time being.BRIGHTNESS: Ample! 200 lumens is plenty for most day to day purposes; I rarely even go that bright. The NU25 would be bright enough for the biggest caves or for riding a mountain bike off-road.( 2,000 lumens is fun to play with but I almost never use any of my very bright torches. Unless you have to search for lost sheep or survivors from a sunken boat it is pointless going above 400 lumens. )

Good quality and well thought out design
Very easy to use comfortable and I especially like the carry bag doubling as a diffuser for use as a lamp
