Solved a Speaker Issue
I noticed the AUX in my car was beginning to require the stereo to be raised in volume to maintain the same quality of sound. The previous setting was typically around 18 and I was now needing to go as high as 22 (and each incremental change is substantial). It was at this point that I began to wonder if my speakers were failing, or if it was the AUX cable itself, and so I placed the order. The cord is extremely flexible, has good length, and is well protected with the steel covering over the wires underneath. It also has the right lightning connector for the modern iPhones which my phone detected and utilized immediately with no problem. I plugged it in and the sound was absolutely crystal clear, to the point that now even 18 is a bit too loud compared to how it was before. So now my stereo system does not need to send as strong of a signal to maintain a quality output from the speakers, and 13 - 16 on my system is a quality fit, which will cause it to last longer.I'm satisfied with the AUX cable. It's simple and does the job. It's very apparent that they did not skimp on the quality and it seems like it will last much longer than the previous cable that I had before. I'm almost certain that anyone who needs a direct and functional AUX for their iPhone (or other lightning connector devices) will find this to perfectly match their needs. I recommend it and I thank you for reading my review. Hope it helps

Nice quality cable, does what it needs to do.
This is a nice quality cable. It's covered in fabric (nylon, I'd guess) to give it extra protection and strength. It's nicely reinforced at both ends so that it won't become a weak point or start shorting out. Both the lightning end and the 3.5mm end securely fit into my ports and it functions exactly as it should. Sound quality is great and it allows me to plug my phone into the stereo at work so that I can then listen to my own music or podcasts. The length of the cord is just right. Long enough that I can pick up and use my phone without having to stand right by the stereo, but short enough that it's not tangled or cumbersome. With how inexpensive most cables are these days, I'd say that the $16.99 price point may be a little high. While being able to listen to my own music at work is well worth the $16.99, I think you could likely find a pretty comparable product for a lower price. That said, with this one you know you are getting good quality, so that's worth taking into consideration.

Works like it should
This nice for our older car that doesn't have Apple Car play in it. It does have an Aux port that I can use my phone with. Once plugged in the iPhones asks what type of device is plugged in. I selected headphones and it started to play.

Unfortunately it stopped working after about a month of light usage. Try a different brand.
I bought this and it allows me to plug my iphone into different audio interfaces that do not have bluetooth connections. Unfortunately it stopped working after about a month of light usage. Try a different brand.

Worked like a charm to connect my iPhone to our guitar amplifier.
The product definitely worked as described. I connected my iPhone to the guitar amp's aux port and was able to play music, while singing with the connected microphone. I was a bit worried that this cable was not going to work as described since I acquired a TRS to Lightning cable which was advertised as being able to be used to connect the iPhone to a speaker, but it failed miserably. This product has a really sturdy feeling outer jacket on the cable. I do wish they sold it in longer lengths, but that may interfere with it's proper functionality. I'm so glad it works, it feels really strong, and there were no connection error messages that came up. What an awesome product.

ordered the wrong thing. I thought it was a headphone jack for Iphone X.
I wish I could review this product but just in case anyone does the same thing I did... this is not an Iphone jack for headphones. I'm sure it works fine for what it is intended.

iPhone to Stereo AUX input
My car stereo does not have Bluetooth, but it does have an AUX input. I ordered this adapter to connect my iPhone SE (2020) to my car stereo. iPhone sees this as an output device (even asked it this was headphones, to limit volume), and the sound through my car's stereo is excellent! Only drawback is that you cannot charge your iPhone through the lightning port, but I have a magnetic charger, so this is not a problem for me.
