Once you put the Bluetooth password in, it automatically plays music when I start my car. It works with YouTube, Hulu, Google, Maps, Waze (just started working with waze). Worst Purchase on Amazon
Ordered this product after getting my new Audi Q5, says it was compatible but barely fit into my car. The charger never worked properly with showing the music information on my car and would not charge, just played music. After only a few weeks of use the charger breaks off into my phone. Worst purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon, am completely disappointed and scared to repurchase this item on Amazon. Beware.

Audio Works!
The price is right when compared to $100+ Audi cable. Audio works flawlessly on our 2014 A5 without the 3G+ system. Does not charge or show the songs playing, just says AUX. For the price I'm very happy with the quality. The lightning cable connector seems to be built well and appears like it will last.

It was easy to install and worked great from the start. Very happy with it.

No power, can’t remove it from cars MMI port
The button to release the device from the car attachment point doesn’t work. Poor quality and the pos device doesn’t provide power to your phone. My Audi’s MMI controls are unable to control the phone. Don’t buy this connector. It’s junk. I would return it if I could get it loose. I may have to drill it out or cut it off.
