Tim Burton: Collection [8 Film] [DVD] [1985]

This is actually the first time I've bought a director's collection before but I have to say this is money well spent. I'm a big Tim Burton fan and this is a very good list of films some I haven't seen before, IE Pee Wee's Big Adventure and Corpse Bride and they haven't let me down. The set comes with a little book that has great artwork and information inside and the Blu-ray transfers themselves are great. overall, if you're a Burton fan like I am, I would certainly recommend this.

What is there to say really!!!This man is a legend i really enjoyed this set so much 2 batman films are excellent,corpse bride is funny and touching Sweeney Todd is rather chilling and well i could go on the book that comes with this set is incredible full of trivia and behind the scenes infohighly recomenned

An eclectic collection of some of Burton's best. Particular favourites such as Beetlejuice and Sweeney Todd can be found here and obviously the Batman films are good too. This is a great introduction for newbies to Burton and a great collection of favourites for established fans.

I am chuffed to bits I decided to buy this box set, I was buying a few different blu rays & this was the most money & so I kept umming & erring wether to drop it from my shopping basket. I eventualy thought no there's too many of my fave films on it not to buy it & so I did. When the my order arrived it was the first of the collection I went for It's just full of great films & especially if you're a Tim Burton fan. Not only that there are some films with extra features I wasn't expecting, Like Pee Wee's Big Adventure & Charlie & the chocolate factory both having Tim burton Commentary. There is probably a whole days worth of entertainment here for the whole family with Burton's two first two Batman films Beetlejuice, Mar Attacks & more. The only major down side for a movie fan like I is the lack of special features on Beetlejuice & Mars Attacks. It's like they've just been thrown on there with no attention to extras. I would have loved a Commentary or few mini documentaries at least on them. Beetlejuice is iconic & Mars Attacks filled with A list stars yet nothing extra, zippitty zilch. These are the blu rays I don't buy if I already have them on DVD cos what's the point. I only have them cos they're part of a collection. Full five points though minus one for the lazy editions of Beetlejuice & Mars Attacks Everything else is Grrrrreat!!

I love these films! One of the disks is almost completely blank on both sides, and it confused me so much! But I think I know which side is which now! Other than that, the movies are great, nothing was broken.

Great value collection. Batman, Batman returns, Beetlejuice, The Corpse bride, Pee-Wee's big adventure and Sweeney Todd are excellent. Not quite as good are Mars Attacks and 'Charlie and the Chocolate factory'.Well worth buying for the first six alone then the other two are bonuses,

Fantastic box set great selection of movies. Would have swapped Pee Wee's big adventure for Dark Shadows but that's just my personal preference. 8 dvd's for under £15 can't go wrong.
