Black Heavyweight Vinyl with download code. Fold out poster insert incl. lyric sheet.... Since bursting onto the Madrid DIY scene last summer, Hinds - Ana Perrote, Carlotta Cosials, Ade Martin and Amber Grimbergen - have mastered a raw and playful sound all their own. With just a handful of released singles under their belt, Hinds have already earned early support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, NME, Guardian, Beats 1, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The FADER, Gorilla vs. Bear, and many more. Now with their eagerly awaited debut on the horizon, Hinds are firmly establishing themselves as one of the most exciting emerging acts of the year and show no sign of slowing down. Kicking things off with their new single "Garden," Hinds take us on a badass rock & roll ride on their forthcoming debut full-length Leave Me Alone. Weaving sun-kissed, 60's-inspired melodies, executed with a genius call-and-response between co-vocalists and band co-founders Perrote and Cosials, Hinds create the ultimate soundtrack to the best day ever - from start to finish - spent with your four best friends. In addition to previously released fan favorites including the band's first-ever single "Bamboo," "Castigadas En El Granero" - which translates in English to "Grounded In The Barn" - and the band's first new song of 2015 "Chili Town," Leave Me Alone only gets better with each song. Featuring bright surf-pop tune "San Diego," the mixed-tempo "Fat Calmed Kiddos," and a bitter ode to shitty boyfriends in "And I Will Send Your Flowers Back," Leave Me Alone is guaranteed to bring the Mediterranean sun to you wherever you are in the world at any time of the year.

Parabarabaraba! Wababibabiraba!
'Hinds' might see it differently but this is a real punk record by a real punk band. The romantic view of punk is that of hordes of seething young guns strapping on guitars and kicking rock and roll back to year zero, Pol Pot style. In many cases this was true, but for every band that fit the bill, there were rock hippies hastily cutting their hair, tapering their flairs, and clambering aboard the creaking bandwagon. { Hello 'Vibrators' !}True punk to my ears is when shortcomings in playing ability are compensated for by way of unbridled enthusiasm. Check out the first 'Mekons' single from 1978, 'Never been in a Riot', or the 'Slits' 1977 peel sessions and you'll see just what i mean.Which brings us to 'Leave Me Alone', a punk record for all the reasons stated above, and not because it belongs as part of a convenient genre alongside the 'Green Days' of this world. 'Hinds' are four young Spanish girls whose unpolished, slightly off key { some might say amateurish} performances actually fill me with hope in these depressing times of X-Factor drivel. In fact it's to these girls credit that Simon Cowell would most certainly have given them the thumbs down. Little Mix they aint!Amusingly, much is lost in translation here; sample song title- 'Fat Calmed Kiddos' sample lyric- 'High salt level cries for treble and sailors started to shot'. For all of the shambling and wonky harmonies, there are actually hooks a plenty bubbling beneath the surface, and 'Warts' for instance will have you whistling all the way to work. The band even display the chutzpah to include an instrumental interlude in the shape of 'Solar Gap' and it works a treat. Best of all is the empowering ' And I Will Send Your Flowers Back', which perfectly encapsulates the don't give a damn attitude of this feisty young group to a tee. I would have happily given this album five stars but unless some killjoy producer comes along and smoothes down the charming rough edges, i feel that even better is yet to come.

Hinds machen Laune
