It is really helpful for revision. Excellent book indeed.Compact and very good collection of facts and worth investing to have it.Better if you have other 2 books.I am really satisfied with my purchase.

Useful book for PACES - The history taking section, communication skills section and station 5 chapters are particularly useful. I found it went into far too much detail for the clinical stations, although useful for background reading/ looking things up.The font is really quite small and it takes quite a long time to get through the book, far more information than you need for the actual exam itself. I think this a good book to use in conjunction with one of the other PACES books such as Cases for Paces by Hoole.It contains lots of useful tips/ advice from experienced examiners which perhaps other PACES books are lacking and definitely will give you some good insight into how the exam is structured/ marked and what the examiners are looking for.

I bought this book after attending the Pass PACES course. Whilst the contents of the book is broad, it is way too wordy and contains more information than you need to know.Also, it’s not the cheapest book however the paper on which is it is printed is of very low quality.Personally, I found that the combination of the Pass PACES course, the cases for paces book (which is much more readable) and pastest videos were the perfect combination. I did not really use this book at all.
