I have blinds from the late 1990s - early 2000s and they have clear tassels just like this. A few of them have broken off the blind cords around my house so these are great replacements and a great match to my other ones.You will need to untie the knot in the cord and take off the old broken tassel first. If you are struggling to get the string through the new tassel, I taped the end of the string. The way you do it is to rip off a small piece of tape and one end should go near the end of the string and the other end should stick out further than the string and make it pointed. So you're pretty much just extending the cord with a end that's just tape. Then stick the pointed tape end through the hole and pull. This will pull the cord through, then you can take off the tape. Then tie a knot so it stays on the cord. You might need to adjust the cord and knots to get it even so you can close both end of the tassels together.

Perfect for older blinds with cords. I had 4 cords hanging down and they all fit inside one tassel.

As I restrung my mini blinds I needed new knots. These work well and are break-away to reduce risk of strangulation.

These parts break often. I would say they were designed poorly from the get-go. So….I am happy that I could find them here, even though they are the wrong color. I needed white, but clear is what they sent me. Hmmmm….I think it was an error, but I’m not going to exchange as it’s too much trouble.

Very nice Replacement tassel. Open to thread through the cord and knot. Snaps close. A nice size to grasp when pulling.

They do the job for large blinds with 4 cords needed to be separated.
