Q: What if i need another one of the plastic caps?

We understand some of our customers may like to have more flexible rotation by having more protective hard caps for their Dexcom G6 sensors, and we have recently launched the Add-On Dexcom G6 Sensor Covers, it has 2 customized hard caps for Dexcom G6 sensor, and some sample Dexcom G6 adhesive patches in different colors. Q: I'm just curious if this may block the signal from the transmitter?

Thanks for asking and this is a good question. The thin plastic housing does little to attenuate the signal, and more importantly, even with our Dexcom G6 sensor cover applied, there is still plenty of room around the sensor/transmitter: 1. The bottom of the cap is about 3mm from the skin/ground, considering the extended edge of the cap, the space is huge. This is for a better signal penetration, more comfortable wearing experience and easier operation (no glue on the sensor and tape). 2. There is a 3 mm diameter vent at the top for easy signal as well as vapor penetration. 3. Unlike the transparent plastic patches, our highly stretchable Dexcom G6 adhesive patch is like a net with many small holes for the signal to pass through and the skin to breathe freely. We do not make the 1-design-for-all product and every Amolyfe CGM protection solution is customized for a specific sensor. Hope our answer helps.
