Crochet Patterns For Dummies

Disappointing - it's an American book, so yarns and hook sizes are different from UK ones, making it difficult to follow the patterns. Also, based on the designs, it's not clear who this book is aimed at. I've seen better patterns offered for free online.

Absolutely useless! The implication of the title seems to be that it is about creating your own patterns for garments etc. Unfortunately it is a vast tome on how to read purchased patterns. Could have been written as a pamphlet!

Disappointed overall and will be giving to charity shop. Very few photos of real work to go with instructions. Seems dated overall and not very interesting. There are better books out there

Very easy and informative reading. Absolutely covers everything from beginning to end. It as received by myself well in the suggested delivery date. Very pleased all round. Thanks

Great book, fast delivery. It's simple to follow and is one of the main books that got my head around crochet and reading patterns. I would highly recommend buying it.

Not impressed. Lack of illustrations, and the patterns seemed quit unimaginative - ie lots of belts and bookmarks. The paper and book binding are poor quality and probably won't last long. Also not clear from the online description that this is an American book, so stiches are different from English stitches

Good book but a bit dated some of patterns very old fashioned I thought but a good reference book.
