You can simply pour some water onto the fabric and see if it absorbs into the fabric or if it runs off. GREAT RESULT. REALLY HAPPY WITH IT.
I NEEDED TWO CANS OF THE CAMEL COLOURED FABRIC PAINT FOR MY ARMCHAIR. SOME OF THE LIGHTER AREAS YOU CAN SEE ARE DUE TO A LIGHT SOURCE, SOME ARE FAINTER PATCHES THAT I NEED TO LIGHTLY GO OVER AGAIN. THIS CHAIR WAS REUPHOLSTERED IN A CREAM FABRIC A FEW YEARS AGO, SO WAS LOOKING GRUBBY ON THE ARMS AND NO UPHOLSTERY CLEANER WORKED. THIS HAS BEEN A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO PAYING £600 FOR REHUPOLSTERING! IT'S NON TOXIC - HARDLY ANY SMELL. YOU CAN USE INDOORS. MAKE SURE YOU PUT NEWSPAPERS DOWN (UNDER AND AROUND) AND IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER PAIR OF HANDS, GET THEM TO STAND BEHIND WHEREEVER YOU'RE SPRAYING, HOLDING UP A TOWEL SO YOU DON'T GET IT ON THE WALLS. DON'T OVERSHAKE AND STOP AND CLEAN THE NOZZLE IF IT STARTS SQUIRTING RATHER THAN SPRAYING. DO THE BACK AREA UNTIL YOU GET INTO THE SWING OF IT. GOOD LUCK. GREAT PRODUCT.
