Couldn't wait to get this Dictaphone and it arrived well packaged and quickly.I am currently studying as a mature student in University and this has been a life saver. I set this to record so that I can pay attention in lectures and tutorials instead of frantically trying to take notes. I can now take notes at home and save the recordings for revision! I sit about 30ft away from the lecturer and it picks him up perfectly. I like the noise cancelling in the background so I'm not hearing all the coughs and shuffling.There is a great function that saves space on the dictaphone - it pauses recording if the lecturer stops talking. However, it has an 8GB memory which can hold plenty. It then connects easily to my laptop with the USB that is included.The battery seems to be good so far too. I can use this for 2 full days and if doesn't need charging.Although this comes with full instruction manual it is fairly easy to use (maybe it was easier that I'd used voice recorders before??).Comes with everything you need; 1 x 8GB Voice Recorder, 1 x USB cable, 1 x Earphone, 1 x Microphone, 1 x Audio cable, 1 x Line-In Line, 1 x User Manual.I'd highly recommend this to students but it can be used for a wide range of jobs as well. I do a bit of amatuer journalism for a women's rugby website, and one annoying thing has always been recording player interviews. Using a phone app is okay, but at times less than ideal. A "real" journalist friend recommended I get a dictaphone, so after looking around (and not wanting to spend too much) I thought I'd try this.I have been amazed how good it is. First, it arrives very nicely packaged and even before you take it out of the box looks much classier than the price might make you think. Once inside there is the recorder, a charger lead, headphones, clip on mic (just like the pros use!), and a neat add-on that allows the recorder to be used to record phone calls. In short - everything you could need (and more than I expected).The recorder does a lot, including offering two "files" (so you could have separate collections of recording for two events), with an option for "voice activation" (which actually means the recording pauses if you stop talking). It will even record in stereo! Sound quality is okay - certainly perfectly good for speech, which is what it is designed for. If you want to record a full orchestra you probably should use something a tad more sophisticated.Finally, when attached to a laptop, the device effectively becomes an 8GB USB drive. Recordings can be easily uploaded to a computer - and music tracks downloaded (there is a built-in music player), and any other files you may want to copy can also be loaded up.The instruction booklet is also pretty comprehensive. Initially it did seem a bit dauntin, but to be honest after 10 minutes I had pretty much mastered it.Overall it is exactly what I need.

Great voice recorder for interviews and other voice recording tasks. Comes in a box with earphones, charging cable and a long lead with a microphone attached at the end of the cable. Can also be used as a music player with its 8gb memory and a ad card slot which supports up to 64gb.

Good quality audio, good price. No real complaints for the issue, as with any product it has it's own flaws, however I can't complain with the price.

Since It suddenly didn't work,I send an email to the seller about the problem.They asked me to format the recorder and I did (several times) but still doesn't work at all.So I require replace or refund and they don't reply to my requirement.(I send email to them 4 times)I really unhappy with their naughty reaction.

Does exactly what it says on the tin and easy to use. Small and light enough to easily fit in a pocket or use discreetly. I use it for my work to make oral notes whilst carrying out inspections and also for recording meetings for producing minutes.

Rubbish. Don't waste your money. Although, I bought this products 6 months ago, I began using it only recently. It managed to record 10 interviews, as a part of my dissertation, and stopped working suddenly. Even when 'worked', there were constant issues with it. Rubbish

Good sound quality, easy to download and playback. A little fiddly to use by itself to playback but perfect when you download
