I have to admit that the only time I use my Sat Nav is when on holiday, or on family days out as such the original Garmin supplied charging lead spent a lot of time in my glove box, so I was a little surprised at its failiure the other day.I was certainly not impressed by its reliability and the price of the GARMIN replacement was slightly off putting. I had read a number of reviews that mentioned that some third party replacements put the unit into PC Mode and it was only on reading previous reviews that I felt confident to order this version. The delivery speed was impressive and the product appeared sturdy and securely fitted into the plug in on my Golf, the unit switched on and functioned perfectly. The lead length is more than adequate for the positioning of my Sat Nav in the vehicle. All in all a great product and well worth the asking price.

Delighted with this product. My original charger has started to split with age and I was very pleased to be able to buy a replacement. I did worry as it wasn't a Garmin product and I did try to find the Garmin original but I couldn't, so took a chance on this. It arrived well packed, in perfect condition and worked perfectly, though the connection into my actual unit is a little looser than the original. This doesn't seem to affect my Garmin Nuvi at all and as yet it hasn't slipped out, it just wobbles a bit when I touch it. But it is a 'compatible' product, not a genuine one. Overall I am delighted. It works and has enabled me to get a few more years use out of a Garmin Sat-Nav that would have had to be thrown away had I not been able to buy it. Had they made the connection into the unit a perfect fit, the charger would be 100% perfect.Very pleased.

A fantastic charger for a fantastic price! I borrowed my parents spare satnav to visit a friend. After an unfortunate accident with a puppy and the original garmin lead, I was left without a working charger! As a student, I could not afford to replace the lead with an official garmin product, and After researching alternative brands I was very worried about chargers placing the device into "PC mode". The reviews for this product were fantastic and the price was even better! The delivery speed was incredibly fast and the product doesn't feel cheap. It is secure in the socket and the lead length is perfect! If I ever need I spare or replacement I will definitely be returning.

Here I am searching for another charger for my Garmin Nuvi sat nav. Like another reviewer said, it doesn’t get used all that much and lives in the glove box. It failed me spectacularly en route to the airport last week. Nightmare! I was just about to pop this in my basket when I. Noticed the Amazon message that I purchased this charger on 2.10.16. So it lasted me just under 18 months. Worked OK before that. Why it gave up is a mystery.

I bought a Garmin Nuvi 1340 a year ago and its a cracking little satnav and well worth what I paid for it (£85 at the time) but it didnt have any accessories with it. It came with a mains charger and the pc usb port for charging and updating etc but the most important item for me would have been the in-car charger as the battery only lasts about 3 to 3 and a half hours. I bought a general universal charger which worked ok for about 3 months then I started getting the 'pc update icon' whenever I charged it whilst driving and it kept crashing. Bought another charger which did exactly the same after about 3 months constant use. This particular charger has the 'angle poise' at 90 degrees where it plugs in so there is no pressure on it and I think thats why its still working 6 months later! You only get what you pay for and this was well worth the money******************************************************************************UPDATED on 15th November 2012I have now started to see a message occasionally when I plug the charger in which says "accessory not supported", however I have just pressed 'ok' and after repeating the message a couple of times the sat nav continues to work whilst on charge..... so far!!! Maybe it is about to quit on me? Watch this space!

This product arrived on time.The following day I used it; the fit was good. After a short while my satnav went dead and wouldn't work again. I went to Halfords where it was tested; completely broken and would not work at all with another lead. They thought it was probably burnt out by a power surge. I now have to purchase a new satnav. To say that I'm not pleased is an understatement! At the very least I need my money refunded and some sort of explanation. That lead now will cost me around £80 for new equipment which was working perfectly well before! I cannot manage without one!

My original cable stopped working and I was trying to look for a replacement. The description of this product claimed it should work for 2595LMT. I understood that the only difference for LM and LMT was that LMT provides live traffic and LM does not, so I placed the order, with the awareness of the different parameters of this cable supported in comparison with the original one.Original cable: Input, 10-30V; Output, 5V/2AThis cable: Input, 10-24V; Output, 5V/1AI found the parcel at my door at 8pm (which was within 1-day delivery) and I was impatient to try it out. Unfortunately the cable did not work and the GPS was not charged. I wonder whether it is a faulty machine or the mismatching product altogether. I intend to think the former as the lower charging power should only make charging slower but should be able to charge.I will seek the opportunity to change the product and update later.------Update:It was discovered that the faulty came from the cigarette lighter itself: the fuse was brown. After this was fixed, the original Garmin cable continued to work and this new cable also worked perfectly.

Se me averió el original. Este es muy asequible y funciona perfectamente

En principio, funciona como se espera,solo el tiempo dira si es de calidad,el tamaño es quizás un poco grande con respecto a la competencia.
