QualtexDust Bags for Miele GN Vacuum Cleaners Pack of 10

First, this is not the same as a Miele bag. Without a side by side comparison you may think it is the same. The Miele bag is thicker and better made but this is very good. I bought these for jobs where a lot of mess is cleared up in a short space of time and seemed a waste to use the original bags. At about half the price these are very good value for money. I have also monitored the filter before the motor and this is not getting dirty nor is the bag itself discolouring ( indicating dust escaping through the bag ). I do however think the bag change red flag indicator comes on earlier but may just be due to vacuuming brick dust and other more dense matter. I (we) will probably still use original bags for normal use because I am very sensitive to fine dust which is why I purchased a Miele in the first place. Update to original review, I have had one of these bags split very slightly and although discovered in time, make sure the bag is changed as soon as the cleaner indicates it is required.

These bags need to be perfectly positioned to work properly, unlike the official ones. This means that most of what is sucked up ends up going into the vacuum and not the bag. you then have to spend the next 20 mins cleaning the vacuum.I tried 3 bags, all did the same thing as they did not line up with the pipe properly.

I don't know if the bags I received were faulty or not but even with a new and completely unused bag in the machine the Bag Full indicator was coming on. So I can only assume that the bags were preventing proper air flow through the vacuum cleaner. Also they are just a big flat bag which you have to tuck in rather than the pleats that the original Miele bags have so fitting them is a bit fiddly. will not be buying these again and have binned the other nine from the pack rather than risk damaging the machine.

Not as pictured by seller, so I have added a new picture above to show what I received (the packet & one dust bag as received, plus a genuine Miele bag for comparison). Does not fit correctly in place of genuine Miele GN vacuum cleaner bag. Plastic clip on bag is not retained by clip in vacuum cleaner, just slides off. Dust escapes from bag entry. Returned for refund.

I always use replacement bags from this supplier. As far as I can tell, they're easily as good as Miele's own and for the price what's not to like?

Haven't noticed much difference in use from Miele ones. Little bit more difficult getting in and out. One of them made a whistling noise every time the sucker thing was turned on but not sure if that was the maid putting it in the wrong way or something. Still sucks though.

These are perfect for my Miele S5261 vacuum cleaner. I had previously purchased generic bags through Amazon which were smaller in size and cheaper but worked just as well. Unfortunately, I could not find the same bags when I searched again so chose these, which are the genuine Miele bags. I am fairly happy with the price as they are larger and will last longer, especially as I am not a housework fanatic! Delivered quickly and well packaged. Recommended.

No noticeable difference between these and the branded productin use except these are much harder to remove from the hoover, the shape of the plastic slot in must be very slightly different. I'd still buy again.
