Slow burning, consistent temps.
I bought this product due to a recommendation, it is such a natural and loverly smell, unlike cheaper brands that can smell like chemicals. I use it mainly for low and slow cooking (10+ hour smokes) and it maintains temperature so well. It is also very slow burning and leaves little ash. The packaging is water proof and very very strong. Also the product arrived promptly and in good condition

Weber Quality
My favourite briquettes. Good even temperatures and burn for a long time. Shame the price is creeping up.

Excellent product.
Great value for money. Yes they are more expensive than briquettes from the supermarket but they burn hotter and for much longer meaning you require less so you save money in the process. Used with a Weber chimney they are also super easy to get lit and take maybe 10 minutes with a single firelighter to be ready to cook. There was very little dust in the bag as only a couple of briquettes had broken up and the bag is resealable so no worries about storage.

Best barbecue briquettes on the market
We are keen all weather barbecuers. We reckon these are the best briquettes on the market, easy light, no accelerant so can be used pretty much straight away and stay alight for ages. Well done Amazon on price, whilst still not cheap they are extremely expensive elsewhere. We have bought enough to see us through the winter and for our now traditional Christmas Eve barbecue. One negative on the packaging. I am not a save the planet zealot but each bag came in its own oversized cardboard box padded out with huge quantities of scrunched up brown paper, hugely wasteful and would have the environmentalists in a real flap.

Quality briquettes are worth the extra money.
During the summer I've had the opportunity to do a few BBQs and used various types of fuel - traditional charcoal, cheap briquettes, and Weber briquettes. There are many benefits to using decent quality fuel:- They heat up quickly (using a chimney, they'll be ready to use in about 20 mins)- There is minimal black smoke after the initial start up- The heat generated is far superior (regularly generate between 250-300 degrees heat, no problem)- They last much longer (they'll still be going strong 2-3 hours after lighting)It may grate you spending more on something you're only going to burn, but it's worth it for consistent BBQs!Highly recommended.

They work really well
I usually use a gas bbq. But as we were glamping for a long weekend I took a small “real” bbq to use.I bought these based on reviews and am glad I did.I wasn’t sure about how good they were when first using them - there didn’t seem to be any flames (which I’m used to with gas). The coals just seemed to start turning white after a few minutes. However, the heat these gave off was incredible. The one lot of coals cooked everything we wanted to eat and then served as a little fire pit afterwards :)I expected to use a lot of these over the weekend but they last so long that I still have a nearly full bag left..!
