As a keen camper it is essential to have a good quality sleeping bag, I saw this listed for a reasonable price so thought I would give it a try.This sleeping bag is nice and light and the package is about average size however if you wrap it with a couple of straps it dramatically reduces the ammount of space it takes up in your bag. This particular sleeping bag was to go with my normal tent equipment rather than in my hiking pack so size wasn't really a concern.The sleeping bag comes in its own carry bag with a handle on one end and a draw chord with toggle on the other end.The quality is excellent for the money. the zip is of good quality and is nice and smooth and has a Velcro locking mechanism to prevent the zip dropping down when moving about inside. The sleeping bag is nicely stitched with no loose threads to be seen.The material is water resistant meaning its perfect if you like sleeping under the stars as we all know things can get a little damp but that's not an issue with this particular sleeping bag.The sleeping bag it's self rolls out and is surprisingly large, I am 6ft5 and 350lb and could still fit in so that's a promising start. It can be used as your sleeping bag or unzip it and use it as a quilt or blanket for picknicks and outdoor events.this particular sleeping bag is what people sometimes refer to as a mummy style sleeping bag where it has a built in hood and with draw chord so you can keep tucked up warm even on those cold evenings. I bought this item for my trekking in Peru last year. Although the temperatures were quite mild, this sleeping bag did not help. I actually bought it to replace my usual Tesco Value which I thought was too light and too thin for Sept-Oct Peru climate. Was so disappointed yet stressed every time I used this product. It would probably be alright for hot summer nights camping but then again, the temperatures did not reach zero degrees C on my trip, so...I actually wanted to return the sleeping bag and complain for false advertising at the time but I got busy and now it is too late. Save your time and money - not worth it! (unless you're going somewhere very warm - in which case, why do you need a sleeping bag?!)
