I love this single-ply yarn!
This yarn is a joy to work with--it feels great in your hands, and the color changes come at just the right time for my projects. The colors are amazing and vibrant! Here is a wyvern I made using this yarn and a different type of solid Lion Brand yarn. My camera does not do the colors justice. I would highly recommend it! TIP: if you are using it to sew parts together for origurumi, twist the yarn in the direction it goes to tighten it so that it won't break during sewing.

In love but be mindful of the actual color way for this yarn.
Lion Landscapes yarn is remarkable.... absolutely gorgeous, sumptuous, rich in color, incredibly soft, springy, squishy, and one of the easiest to work up that I’ve ever used. If you like a yarn with body and shine, yet not too heavy for a sleeveless top in warmer months, then this is for you!As you can see from the pics, the actual colors in this yarn, Cabana, are a little (or a lot) misleading. From the picture and the name, to me it implies more cool shades of ocean, sandy beach, sky kind of... but what I see is 100% fall colors. So that’s why we do these reviews and I hope that you find this helpful. :). Now I’m going to go back and order some more because it really is gorgeous yarn!!

Beautiful but not without issues
This is spefically for the one skein that I bought which is called Apple Orchards. This yarn is seriously gorgeous. It's extremly soft and the colors are beautiful. This is easily the most lovely yarn to work with in my experience because your needle will just glide through it. It has a satin feel to it just as described. The changes in color within the yarn are subtle and do not produce stark stripes as seen with other yarns- at least with a granny square or a circle. Image attached. Please ignore the 'jumps' on the left, that is me accidentally and quite stupidity using dc to make a circle with multicolored yarn. But you can see how beautiful it looks.Like another user mentioned, I too found that the yarn does stick to itself and when ripping out stitches you have to tug and it can be hard not to cause the yarn to fuzz up. See image. For this reason it lost a star.I can confirm that it is indeed a worsted weight yarn (4). Edit: this actually feels more like Aran weight yarn. It is also true as some users have indicated, that the thickness varies but for me it doesn't seem to spoil the end result. It also has a slight fuzz to it although stitch patterns are very clear regardless. The fuzz does not get in the way at all. However you have to think carefully about what you plan to make with it- particularly with this colorway. It's very dramatic and has a visible sheen to it. It is not matte as it appears to be in pictures or even when you look at the skein in real life. Once it is worked up the shine really shows. The colors are very, very vivid. I cannot stress this enough. They are jewel tones rather than thoes found in nature and are very intense. It's absolutely stunning but personally I don't see myself wearing anything made with it, not even a scarf. Perhaps it would work for an afgan or even a fun sweater for a toddler. Edit: I am making a yarn bag with it and am waiting for more yarn to finish it. I have included an image of it so far. It has white yarn in it, hence the white holesThis yarn is lovely so I will probably try a more suble color way for a scarf or hat.In a nutshell I recommend this yarn as a true treat! Just don't keep changing your mind about the project ( which I do a lot) because ripping out will ruin the yarn.

Beautiful, and soft, but full of knots.
This yarn is so soft and beautiful. Would not recommend for beginners though, almost every skein I've bought has had a lot of knotted ends. It's not impossible to work with but quite annoying to have to stop, and re-ball the yarn to match up the color flow to re-attach the yarn. (Pictured is the knot I found while knitting)

Amazing!
It's a slightly more delicate yarn, but the color and the quality is incomparable!!! This is some of the best yarn out there to make blankets, scarves, and baby things because it's so soft! The silver is genuine silver colors with no hints of blue, green, pink or whatever other color a lot of yarn brands ruin silver with. This skein is e x e m p l a r y!

Works well as a warp yarn
I love weaving with unplied wool (both warp and weft) but I didn't know if an unplied acrylic would be strong enough. I'm weaving two 6' scarves with only Lions Brand Landscapes yarns (this color, other colors and variegated) and it's going along beautifully. No separated strands and minimal fuzzing. I virtually never weave with acrylic yarns or even blends, but these colors are lush and the yarn feels like a very soft wool. I am very impressed.
