Good value
Used this speaker wire to run my 7.4.6 and I can't be any happier. Very easy to work with and is in-wall rated. Inexpensive route for the avid DIYer!!!

Not as expected
The quality of the cable is great. Nothing wrong at all. What bothered me was I ordered this specifically because it showed as a box that would allow you to feed the amount of cable out that you need. The cable showed up as pictured without a box. I’m happy with the cable, but allowed that I spent time finding a boxed cable.

CCA is perfectly fine for short, low power runs
I've heard all the rumors about CCA being far inferior to "oxygen free copper", so I decided to try this stuff out and see just how bad it was.16/2 gauge, 250ft = 2.4 ohms (measured using a NIST traceable DMM with milli-Ohm precision)-> this translates to 0.0048 ohms per foot (single conductor)16/2 gauge Oxygen free copper = 0.004 ohms per foot (single conductor)So CCA is definitely high resistance, but only 20% higher. What does this mean in terms of power dissipation?10ft run = 0.096ohm CCA, 0.08ohm OFC-CCA 4/6/8 Ohm speaker % loss: 2.4% / 1.6% / 1.2%-OFC 4/6/8 Ohm speaker % loss: 2% / 1.3% / 1.0%25ft run = 0.24 ohm CCA, 0.2ohm OFC-CCA 4/6/8 Ohm speaker % loss: 6% / 4% / 3%-OFC 4/6/8 Ohm speaker % loss: 5% / 3.33% / 2.5%50ft run = 0.48 ohm CCA, 0.4ohm OFC-CCA 4/6/8 Ohm speaker % loss: 12% / 8% / 6%-OFC 4/6/8 Ohm speaker % loss: 10% / 6.6% / 5%So for >25ft cable runs you start getting significant losses (the lost power is dissipated as heat), but then it's probably time to go down a gauge or add more conductors. Event at a 12%/10% loss driving 200W into a speaker, that's 24W / 20W (CCA/OFC) worth of heat which is easy to dissipate along a 50ft run.OFC just isn't worth the extra fraction of a percent in power savings.Note: I also look at high frequency characteristics of CCA using a network analyzer (sorry, not NIST traceable so I don't fully trust it). It looks fine up ~20kHz which is beyond where I can hear. At >100kHz it's almost the same, but that's due to the skin effect.

Nice deal.
Aluminum wires. it's not full copper, that's why price is less then 100% copper.I'm wire my home theater, I use 4x16 and pair them to make 2x13awg wire.. 16awg x2 = 12-13awgfor the price and quantity. you can't find better price..Thank you

Excellent Product
I bought this item for my husband. It arrived in a number of days which pleased us. My husband has not complained that there is anything wrong with the product. My husband uses this product in the construction of a LED Christmas light display for outside. He constructed a large LED Christmas tree display last year that was programed using a Raspberry Pi controller. He is presently constructing a smaller LED Christmas tree display to stand next to the large LED Christmas tree using this product.

Easy to Pull, Wish the colours of wires were different.
I recently purchased the 500ft 16AWG 4 Conductors (16/4) CL2 Rated Loud Speaker Cable Wire Pull Box for in-wall installation, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with its performance and quality. The cable itself is durable and well-suited for running audio signals over long distances. However, my only minor complaint is the color variation of the wires.Normally speaker wire comes in the standard four colours of Black, Red, Green, and White. While this colour scheme was Black, Red, Yellow and Blue. It does not affect the cable's functionality in any way, it deviates from the traditional standard colours Personally, I would have preferred the standard colours for easy identification and consistency with other audio installations. That being said, once I got used to the unconventional color coding, the cable performed admirably. It effectively transmitted audio signals without any noticeable loss in quality or signal degradation. The 16AWG gauge ensures sufficient power handling capabilities, allowing for the delivery of clear and robust sound reproduction. The CL2 rating of this cable is worth highlighting, as it signifies its compliance with fire safety regulations for in-wall installations. This feature ensures that the cable can be safely routed through walls, ceilings, or other concealed spaces without posing a significant fire hazard. The pull box packaging is convenient for managing and storing the cable. The box allows for easy dispensing of the desired length of cable without tangling or damage. This feature proved to be useful during installation, saving me time and effort. While I initially had reservations about the color scheme, I realized that with proper labeling and organization, the non-standard colors did not hinder the installation process significantly. Moreover, the cable's performance and durability overshadowed this minor inconvenience. In conclusion, the 500ft 16AWG 4 Conductors (16/4) CL2 Rated Loud Speaker Cable Wire Pull Box is an excellent choice for in-wall speaker installations. Its robust construction, reliable performance, and compliance with fire safety regulations make it a dependable option for both residential and commercial applications. However, it would be even better if the wire colours were the traditional Black, Red, Green, and White for easier identification and consistency with standard audio installations.
