Used these on a pergola for a birthday party. Put sheers behind them and that looked nice. They worked great. Nice, soft light. Bright enough to sit around and chat (there was no moon that night). The different modes of light (flash, chase, etc) worked fine. We used it folded in half (basically) because our space was shorter. Very nice for late night coffee too. :-)Follow the instructions about not undoing the clips holding the wires - just in case you don't read the instructions. The wires are thin and if you did undo the clips it would be a heck of a mess!We used small 3M clips (removable) to hang them. Worked well. It was a little breezy and they did fine. When undoing each light string - each one twirls as it straightens. Advise you to let one at a time down. They will also relax as they hang, so they were a little longer than we expected. We used the twist ties to just pull some up and make each line shorter (they were going between deck boards).They stayed outside a couple days - but we took them down as rain approached (probably not necessary). We folded each line back up into individual bundles (secured with a twist tie) before we took the horizontal line down.

I love these lights and the different settings. They can be tricky to untangle and they have the tendency to tangle back up sometimes while hanging if they get moved or bumped but that’s fine. My favorite part was these lights don’t get hot when you have them on, the box that plugs into the wall does get warm so I wouldn’t suggest having it near anything while on! Be careful untangling. I’m writing this after months of having and we moved and they needed packed and unpacked again.Good value but I wish they had lasted longer.I do wish there was a remote control that was separate from the plug in itself, as it can be tedious to adjust the settings while not knowing which one is which and how many clicks it takes to get to a certain setting. It also would make it easier to adjust from anywhere in the room instead of having to walk over each time you want to change them.I probably wouldn’t recommend these to people with photosensitivity as since it isn’t labeled to which flashes are when- the fast flashing of some settings can be jarring and unexpected.I’m rating the brightness as 5 because they are “bright” as in they do their job. They are a nice soft and warm white which I love instead of the typical neon blue bright burn your eyes light. They aren’t overpowering! Tangling: While untangling today one of the wires for the dominant strand that the lights come down from snapped in half and I almost didn’t notice. I wasn’t pulling exceptionally hard or doing hard yanks, I was weeding through and pulling long strands from each other, so I don’t think it takes much force for that to happen? I thought maybe they got cut/damaged but the wire was hanging out longer than the plastic covering. So when untangling just be very patient and cautious!

Bought 3 sets of these lights.Within a month 2 sets of lights started to dim and not go into the random pantern settings.Then the last set stopped working completely.I found out the problem with these lights ,they are made for outdoors ,but the box that you set the various light patterns ,must not get wet.Once they are wet you will get problems and the lights eventually goes out .Also the ends of some of the bulbs developed some rusting color within a month with rain.I won't buy again ,also it took me 2 hours to install 3 sets around my house,I used a 10 feet ladder.So now I have to take them down.😖

Absolutely love these. Wanted to touch on some negative things I’ve seen written about these - they are a very warm yellow color, hint of ivory. It is so comforting, but I guess it depends on preference, I saw some angry people saying they were “green.” Also someone said they took forever to untangle - they are strands of lights. Slow and steady when taking them out- it’s not difficult just don’t try ripping through them all you’ll make it harder on yourself. Overall, these lights look beautiful and I have no complaints.

Buyer be aware. I ordered this and wore out the first. On the second one ordered my grand pulled a strand out and upon ordering a new one the third time I find the price has gone up and when I get it no timer/ mode function just a basic one function light strand with no remote. I return it for that very reason and they send me the same thing! No remote and it is just a basic one function light strand. I kept it out of frustration and having to return again a second time for the same reason. So, if you want to push past false advertising and less for a higher price this is for you.

These lights were as stunning as I'd hoped! I used then on the balcony of our apartment as decoration for the holidays. The 19.8ftx9.8ft was the perfect length and width for the size of our balcony. We threw a Friendsgiving party, and these lights drew everyone's attention. They are just beautiful, especially when your viewing them from indoors and they look like twinkling stars!I didn't notice the green tint others mentioned. Mine are just straight up warm-white.

Great lights! Love how you can make the lights twinkle and flash in various modes, not too big a fan of the strobe type flash but the other ones are great! Going to be perfect for my son’s winter onederland themed birthday and Christmas as well!
