Effective and Affordable!
My wife and I both developed lactose intolerance at about the same time, and used name brand Lactaid only once, because of how expensive it is. This Lactose Enzyme is just as effective as Lactaid, while being MUCH more affordable! I'm so glad I'm able to enjoy dairy again without upsetting my stomach. If you're also lactose intolerant, definitely pick up a bottle of this stuff so you can still enjoy the cheeses and ice creams and coffee full of half & half that life has to offer!

Very effective and works quickly
This is truly a lifesaver, and it definitely is 'fast acting'! I find this brand to be the best on the market, and 1 tablet 3000FCC is sufficient for my needs. I chew these tablets rather than swallow them (although they are not meant to be chewable); there is no unpleasant 'taste' and I find chewing the tablets make them immediately effective.

Cost saver
Lactaid pills are a lot more expensive for less count and lower dose. Recommend for lactose intolerance

Works well for me
I spent a few years using Lactaid brand pills, and as time went on, I kept getting symptoms of lactose intolerance after taking as many as 5 or 6 Lactaid pills in order to eat a couple slices of pizza. Sometimes, my intestines would start gurgling within 15 minutes of eating those couple slices. I was ready to order another bottle of Lactaid when, just out of curiosity, I read some of the reviews. That's when I discovered the main inert ingredient in Lactaid pills in mannitol. Turns out that I have an intolerance for certain FODMAPs:fermentable oligosaccharides (fructans such as wheat, rye, garlic, onions);disaccharides (lactose in dairy, maltose, sucrose);monosaccharides (galactose, sucrose, and fructose, which is in almost all fruits and vegetables);and polyols (xylitol, as in sugar-free products, sorbitol, as in many fruits and vegetables and sugar-free products, and a few others including mannitol, which is in some veggies as well as a common binder in medications). The lactase in Lactaid pills was taking care of my lactose in tolerance, but the mannitol was giving me the same symptoms because of the polyol intolerance.BUT, even for people with NO food intolerances or IBS, mannitol is a type of sugar that is not digested well. It stays in the intestines for a long time and can cause bloating, cramps, and diarrhea. Mannitol is a low-calorie sweetener and is used in a lot of diet food products. And a person doesn't have to have an intolerance to it to get the effects.Unfortunately, I also have the intolerances...to lactose, corn, fructose, and the polyols.I looked a long time for an effective lactase pill that didn't affect my intolerances but still eased the lactose intolerance. This product does that for me. I still have to take 4 pills (to be on the safe side) and not overdo the amount of cheese I eat because I am severely lactose intolerant, but it works without side effects from the "inert" ingredients.

Doesn't desolve in milk.
Been using this for a long time and thought it was doing a great job. I decided to buy the cheaper half gallon of milk and mixing tablets in it. I figured if 3 worked well when I took it by mouth, then 5 times that would work in the milk. It said to add and wait 24 hours. The next day I shook it up good and used it as I normally would. So far, so good. Every use got a good shaking. Once I got to the last cup full, I saw all the tablets in the bottom of the milk jug. Not one had come apart during all that time. It is definitely not what I thought. Is it the same in my stomach? Didnt have pain .Idk. I feel confused.
