tablet stand
The stand works exactly as advertised. Assembly was quick and easy out of the box. The tension on the adjustable height arm is perfect for a tablet or even a phone - it doesn't self-rise. The grip that holds the tablet is firm, but has enough adjustment to fit different sizes and can easily handle different orientations or angles due to the swivel design. Moving the tablet into position to find the right height and viewing angle is easy - even while reclining. There are plenty of warning not to adjust the arm away from perpendicular to the base. Doing so will result in the stand tipping over, so the caution is definitely warranted. The low profile base means it can slip underneath a night stand or chair, but it also allows it to fit between the mattress and box spring, which is an awesome feature. I'm extremely pleased with the design and function.

Improve comfort and visibility of your tablet at a desk, couch or almost anywhere.
Great price for a very functional product. Very easy to put together. Holds multiple sizes of tablets or phones. I purchased while on recovery from a surgery and it was a life saver to be able to utilize my tablet while stranded in a recliner. Very good build quality with a simple design. Not too heavy to easily move around. Adjustable to almost any height to make comfortable seated at a desk, chair or couch. Great for watching a device while laying in bed as well. Highly recommend.

Good enough
I got this so because I have older children and am about to have another baby. I am considering using it for both homeschooling purposes and even for playing games with them, for when I can’t hold the device myself because I’m nursing baby. We have many good books on our tablet, but it’s heavy and a bit too big to hold easily.I’ve used it to try it out before baby, and it works well enough. Definitely can’t have it facing any which way, otherwise it will fall. And if is not as smooth to make it easily move and then lock, as I wish it would be (have to manually screw each joint looser or tighter), but otherwise it works well. Does the job.

A sturdy, flexible stand that frees your hands and elevates your comfort
I recently got the **SAMHOUSING Tablet Floor Stand** for my iPad, and it’s been a game-changer! Setup took just a minute—no tools required—and the steel base feels solid and stable. With adjustable height (27.5–53″) and a 360° swivel arm, it's versatile enough for watching videos in bed, following recipes in the kitchen, or hands-free reading on the couch. The spring-loaded holder grips firmly—just be careful with your fingers! You may find it tips if overextended, but that’s easy to avoid by keeping the arm parallel to the base.

Game changer!!
This is the best purchase I ever made. I like to relax and be comfy when using my iPad. I use it for my games, movies & reading.. you name it! VERY beneficial for your neck.Easy to install and adjust. It’s portable as well. As stated in instructions, the base AND adjustable grip has to be in the same direction or else it would lose balance & fall but I recommend it for its price!

securely holds my tablet.
The stand securely holds my tablet. I am able to take my tablet outdoors in the stand, so I can listen to music or podcasts while I am gardening or working in the garage. It has made outdoor work much better. The stand works on any surface and securely holds my tablet. The base of the stand is heavy, so it holds up against wind and getting bumped. The stand is easy to move around with me.

Ball joint doesn’t move (updated review)
The media could not be loaded. The ball joint doesn’t move despite being advertised as being able to move. It really limits the rotation ability and I’m not able to set it at the angle I want.UPDATE BELOWSeller reached out to me that they could send a replacement ball joint and I agreed. Seller responded that they instead sent a new one since they don’t have the separate part, so I thought that was nice. However when the new one came in the mail, what was sent seemed to be totally different, not just an updated ball joint. What came in the package was an arm, a clamp for a tablet, and a base that can clamp on the side of furniture (not a stand like the original design). The arm was longer in length, and the clamp for the tablet was wider, so the measurements are different than what is advertised in the description. At first I tried to use the new arm with the old stand base as I thought this was more of a replacement, but when I attached the new arm to the old stand, it was not stable bc the new arm end piece was thinner than the old arm end piece. And even when tightening the screw, the neck was wobbly due to the size difference in the diameter of the ends. I attached a video showing the new arm in the old stand. The new arm was much longer than the old arm which created some balance issues with the old base, it was more prone to tipping over. But that’s easily remedied by just bending the arm more to make it shorter in length and stick out less horizontallyAnother difference was the width of the clamp piece that holds your tablet. The original one is advertised as holding a tablet as small as 4.7 inches in width, which is perfect for me as I use this for my kindle. The new one however was about 5.5 inches at its shortest width, which is too big to hold my kindle, so I’m not able to use it. I tried clamping it vertically so that the clamped part was the top and bottom of my kindle but even then it didn’t fit securely in there because of my kindle case (which is not the fault of the product), my kindle would pop out. But the original clamp on the original stand was able to hold my kindle just fine even with the case on it due to the depth being a little deeper in that clip version.I did try using the old clamp with the new arm just by popping them easily on the opposite ball joints and was able to do that and both fit well.So if I wanted to, I could use the old clamp with the new arm (with the new ball joint), and the new clip on base. But the only place I can clamp it on is my headboard. I bought the original stand because it was a stand and was therefore more easily portable to whatever part of the house I wanted to use it.By itself, the new version they sent me would work well for someone that wished to clamp their tablet holder onto a piece of furniture and had a larger tablet to hold. It feels sturdy. It just isn’t what I was looking for portability wise and too large for my kindle. I also don’t understand why they sent a completely different version compared to what was advertised in the product description, as the product description is why I bought the thing in the first place.I’ll add one star to my previous review because they reached out to me twice to try and remedy things. First was after I posted my review asking if I wanted a refund, but I didn’t feel right accepting that because I was still going to use the original product even with the defective ball joint. They later reached out to me again saying they have a new ball joint to fix my problem and asked if I wanted it sent to me. So support seems good, but my original problem stays the same, but that’s fine as I can still use the stand with the defective ball joint.

Great for Kindle reading
Love my new stand for reading my Kindle. It is flexible and I can adjust the height to be perfect for if I am laying in bed or sitting on the couch. It has helped with my neck pain, I am no longer looking down all the time when reading. It has a good grip to hold my Kindle and is sturdy. Definitely recommend.
